interestingly the ticket , has gone up to 170 before appeal timeoutCoupon-mad said:It is now half past three and if you are saying appeals can only be done in writing, you need this posted at a Post office today, within the next hour and a half, and to get a free certificate of posting from the PO counter (and keep it). Can I complain to BPA about ticket going up to £170 before appeal timeout if I screenshot the payment page that came up on Autosec when I put the details in? Would that have any bearing on it?
The TNC letter has added £25 for admin costs with a suggestion that the amount will increase. TNC are attempting to scam you and scare you into paying.
TNC say they obtained your details from the DVLA ? Why would they say that when it is Autosec who must go through the DVLA and they clearly have.
TNC then say they do not accept appeals as they did not issue the PCN ? We know that already so why did they say that they obtained the info from the DVLA ?
The TNC letter is dysfunctional / flawed and stinks of a scam. You really have to ignore such rubbish ...... The only thing they are correct on is the parking ticket is £100 which Autosec now think it's £170 ? This is two companies living on two different planets
The BPA had better come up with a suitable reply as this is media busting stuff. It could call into account the validity of the BPA being an ATA
The parking charge is £100 ... end of, no silly £25 admin fees, no fake add-ons and ... as it seems no chance of an appeal with Autosec and no POPLA code.
This is the perfect chance for the BPA to terminate Autosec from being one of their scammers.
Will the BPA do this, very doubtlful because the BPA are as dysfunctional as their paying members
I havent yet complained to the BPA as I didnt know what to put. Im really worried about it all.
Draft a complaint to the BPA in your own words, then let us see it and we will help fine tune it. No one will draft it for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Your posts come across as if you haven't read other threads, as you say you have no idea what to do and didn't seem to know that these laughable letters are normal for this scam.
However, I think a BPA complaint is pointless and you should just calm down and see this for what it is and ignore the silly letters wanting to collect your doorstep! Also ignore a TNC letter with a pretty yellow box threatening a SUMMONS (the BPA is investigating a complaint about that letter, so if you get it, that would be the time to complain to the BPA).
Come back here if you get a court claim and it sounds like you need to read the NEWBIES thread post #2 about pre-court letters/how to defend a case if it does go to a N1 claim. Yes it happens, and yes, we win almost every case.

Im really sorry if Im annoying you all, I really dont mean to I just cant deal with any of this0 -
Im just worried it will go to court if I ignore them and it is making me extremely anxious. Ive tried to read the other forums but I don't feel that Ive done the right thing as I stuck my head in the sand and didnt appeal. So if it does go to court how could I win?Read my court report today on this forum, about a guy who never appealed. Everyone gets very anxious about these letters. In my case:
- The notice to keeper states 'permit not displayed in windscreen, 10:10am - The car would not have been there long as the time spent at the address would have been for loading/pick up purposes only.
- The bays are not numbered and so there are no specific bays allocated to each residents specific property.
- I cannot be 100% sure who would have been driving at the time.
- The NTK was received more than 56 days after the alleged incident
- The parking is gated, key fob access only and so access would not have been possible without consent of the resident
- Resident is disabled and would have needed car to be within easy distance of building
Will any of this help?
Ill keep reading the forums too, Thank you.0 -
But t if they are determined to take this to court, nothing you can do to change that - other than paying their inflated demands that should it go to court and you lose, the amount you'd have to pay would be much lower. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Hi
I have been pulling some info together to defend myself against ticket issued by AUTOSEC
In the process of doing so I believe he has displayed signs illegally
The car park in question is surrounded by 2 listed buildings - signs are affixed to them
I have dug out all the planning info - there isn't any apart from allowing signs(not specifically parking) to be fixed at the entrance to the complex - not the walls - furthermore the planning consent was granted in 2001 - AUTOSEC didn't exist until 2012.
The legal term is Ex Turpi Causa Non Oritur Actio
Parkingeye failed to defend 2 cases
parking-prankster.blogspot.com/2016/08/parkingeye-discontinue-two-cases
Is there any he can be taken to task for the hundreds of tickets already issued on the complex?
