Good morning all
Belated happy anniversary wishes to Mr & Mrs Ionafan x. It sounds like you had a lovely day.
One load is already in the wm, and hopefully will be able to hang outside. I am taking DD riding, and then hope to get to the allotment to plant the dratted garlic. Both those things will generate another load of washing. The LR is in dire need of a clean, but nobody else seems to notice or care, so not sure why I should. But of course I do. I am sure that there are a zillion other jobs that I need to do today as well. Maybe it is time for that second cuppa to get the brain in gear.
Back later. Have a lovely day all x6 -

Morning all. Glad you had a lovely day Ionafan.
Had a lie in again this morning, so all I've done so far is watered indoor plants and vases, made a load of apple crumbles from free apples and made us egg and bacon rolls for breakfast.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Nice morning here, a little bit of weak sunshine, wondering if I can persuade DH to go out on the bike.
Have amended the supermarket order for tomorrow, kitchen is a bit messy but not too terrible, think DH will want some sort of cooked breakfast anyway, and like Fayolle says no-one else cares except me. Doggie bedding in the wash.7 -
Morning all
lie in with a coffee so I've tried to catch up with the thread. Hope the Ionafans had a happy anniversary. Hope the Round GF is getting better.
My house, finally, is up to standard.
Im hoping to clean the hutch today, get washing out on the line and return the plants to the front border.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning xx
I seem to have lost two days. Got up. turned over my everlasting calendar (as I do every morning): November 20th. Sat with my brew, decide to check off normal calendar and apparently today is the 22nd. It's definitely Sunday because I watched Strictly last night...whip everlasting calendar on a couple more days. Obviously not something I do every morning then lol.
I'm up. I've made my bed, opened the curtains, brought down the laundry hamper, set WM swishing and had a brew. I'm flummoxed. (It doesn't take much): I emptied the laundry hamper yesterday - so how can there be two loads of washing in there this morning? We are isolating. We are not leaving the house. How are we creating so much dirty washing? 'We' not being 'me' you understand
Round 1 =
peg out washing (I'll shove my fleece on over my nightie)
set 2nd load swishing
get dressed
feed the birds
put out the recycling
breakfast
Have a good day y'all. Glad you enjoyed your anniversary ionafan xx How's your shoulder?
Healing vibes to all the poorlies and aching bits.

Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes. Yes, it was a nice day - back to normal grumps today!!!
Round, thanks for asking - my shoulder is a lot less painful during the day if I remember not to try to lift heavy things above waist height, and although it's had to get comfortable at night, I am becoming an expert in going to sleep whilst sitting up. Must have inherited that from my grandfather, who in the 1880s was head choirboy at St Paul's cathedral: the boys were allowed to go to sleep during the 3-hour sermons, provided that they remained bolt upright
Glad to hear that your hip is improving enough for you to be considering a walk, BadCat. Don't overdo it!
Also glad to hear that MrJ is feeling up to bacon and egg - always a good sign
Valli, whatever are you going to do with your time now that your house is up to standard?!?!
This morning I have S&S'd the kitchen, tidied the LR, put away DH's clean socks, and made my bed; also delivered a birthday card to one of the neighbours, and at the same time took out to my car the shopping bags and various other bits that have been cluttering up the DR table for a week. It is another beautiful day and I would really like to take Rosie out for a walk in the sunshine if possible.
Hope everyone has a good day. See you all on the new thread later xx.7 -

It is quite weird doing all this on my phone.. I’ve not had the taplop out in over a week and my phone usage has gone up an hour a week.. so I don’t actually spend that much time online other than when I am playing games.. however.. that is what I do on an evening while knitting and I am so utterly bored on an evening .. I am awful when I am bored and everyone knows it.. I need the brain stimulation but I can’t do flinging because that’s too noisy and I need a break from it sometimes. Squeak goes to bed at 8:30 and I am at a loss what to do then.. what do people do???Today’s job.. empty a box or 3 of gibble.. I need the boxes for Christmas stuff so they have to be emptied.. and if I’ve not needed any of it for this long do I actually need to keep it? Do I NEED to keep the children’s reports?? Or divorce solicitor letters? Do I need any of it?!I need to empty a plastic drawer set in my room to take to DD1 for her room.. I can do that.. *fling* .. not sure what is in it tbh.Kitchen needs a once over and a basket of socks pairing..
bathroom can have a s&s while OH baths the smellies.Cat trays need scooping and I have a carpet thought.I need to ebeast a few more bits too
i want a roll of cheap thin binbags to sort toys into sets while the girls are at school
planning a tip run tomorrow.. my mother has some bits to go and I have some charity shop stuff to dump.Love and hugs to all fed ups, sickies and stressed, a bowl of spoons to share and a tranquilliser dart for all black dogs!XxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
Pigpen, could you take photos of the children's reports and other (possibly) important papers, store them on a memory stick and cull the originals?
I'm liking the idea of your beef stifado, BadCat - goes well with the avgolemono that I'm about to make from the remains of last night's chicken (ie just stock and carcass with rice, eggs and lemon - very MSE !)7
