Good morning
I am up, showered, dressed and fed. Washing on line - it's quite blowy so I'm hopeful. Bunnies hopping round garden.
I do need to fly.
I don't know if this is allowed but my neice lost her job in lockdown and has started her own business; HamperHippo.co.uk and is currently offering a discount code - Festive10 for 10% off.

Bulbs can wait. Dogs are walked, I've popped to shop for essentials, dailies are done and I've now decided to knit and read for rest of day. Off to look at Vallis link first.Spend less now, work less later.8

Afternoon
Progress report, all rooms hoovered and dusted with help from DH, he did all the hoovering again, bins emptied, gibble rehomed to rightful places, en suite, utility and downstairs loo cleaned. House looks and feels much better, I’m going to sit now with my book for a while and rest.
Enjoy the remainder of your day xx7 -
A bit late checking in, and flying has consisted only of S&S'ing the kitchen and putting a few bits of clean washing away, but I have two excuses - our wedding anniversary and my DS1's birthday. DH had a h-u-g-e bunch of very nice flowers delivered for me, He said he would like to go out to lunch so I took him to the GC, got a takeaway from the cafe there, and we ate it in the car, which was parked where we had a pleasant view of the gardens, and he was happy.. This afternoon I took Rosie for a walk up the big hill with DS1 and their two dogs - she met the small one for the first time and had a long game of chase with the big one, also took treats from DS1 for what he thought was the first time ever - so she was happy. I also took DS1 a coffee and pecan cake which I made and decorated yesterday evening, so he is happy. Tonight there will be chicken risotto for us and watching Strictly, so I will be happy. A good day

Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Ionafan.
Had to decamp to spare room at midnight when hot water bottle burst!
One load washing done, out, dry and put away.
Walked up to village shop to get a newspaper; they had sold their last hot water bottle this week!
Spent a very productive time decluttering garage now the range isn't in it. Lots of my flower arranging stuff was in random boxes/bags/buckets as I hadn't been able to get to the proper cupboard and drawers. How can I have so much oasis? More to sort tomorrow but I was pleased with what I achieved and plenty to bin or add to the ever-increasing charity/tip pile. Sorted through some old horsey stuff and offered it to a friend; she dropped by and took it so that is a good result.
Did a little flower arrangement for a church friend who sounded very stressed on Tuesday; she is a nurse and also has a FIL recovering from an operation, not a good patient evidently. Walked round to put it on her doorstep.
Picked some kale and also made some dumplings to add to yesterday's leftover chicken casserole
Did some drum practice.
Bit more of a report done.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Ooh Narco you would have to pay me a lot to help with Covid tests, but of course someone has to do it. And Fayolle yes I have just joined the Frugal people and I am learning a lot, I think that a it fits with our Flylady mentality. Iona, sounds like you had such a nice day, it made me smile.
I ended up doing a lot of paperwork for my voluntary project, so that took a big chunk of the day. One load of washing almost dried outside, veg tagine made for tea, DH did himself some kind of chicken pasta thing as he doesnt do veg. Think he is now watching footie so I might find something on IPlayer. Fire lit, DS and GF cooking their tea, dog snoring in front of the fire, all happy and settled here.7 -

I’m planning an easyish day today, I want to get some batch cooking done so will be making a start as soon as I’m showered and dressed, dailies to be done plus laundry, then I will have some time sitting with my book and maybe a walk if the weather and my hip are both cooperating!Have a lovely day all x8
