Local council; who pays the non-domestic business rates, or Land Registry or ask in one of the shops.3

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Have you told us where the alleged event occurred? If it has cropped up on here before that information might be on in existing thread.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Hi, i have received acknowledgement from BW legal, and they have raised two points.
1. "We note your refusal to engage with the Small Claims Mediation Service. This is disappointing, given that parties are required to try and resolve matters with one another without the need for the Court’s intervention. Should you reconsider this, please do not hesitate to contact"2. The second point on which they asked for clarification is why i have mentioned (D1 on N180) 'The defendant opposes the claimant's request for special directions' I have mentioned this in D1 in case claimant ask for a phone hearing due to covid.
Advice needed,
Shall i clarify these two points which Bw legal have raised in their email?
that the claimant wants the full amount and i dnt want to pay anything, so there is no point of mediation, that is why i have said no to mediation?
Thank you

But if the Claimant didn't ask for special directions, I cannot understand what you have objected to. Neither apparently can the Claimant.Fazzz said:2. 2. I think this was supposed to be a mention of objecting to a hearing "on the papers" rather than in respect of a phone hearing? ... you likely have no choice at all on whether a phone hearing is chosen (by the court, not the Claimant).3

I presume it was copied from an oooooooooooooooooold one where Gladstones consistently asked for a hearing on papers, for a bout a year or so4

You either have to say you copied something despite having absolutely no idea why you did, or you can just gloss over it.3
