pigpen said:Round.. I can send you a person if your house feels too empty.. you're welcome, it's no trouble and YES I INSIST!!
YL - lol. Thank you for the thought - do they like fish finger sandwiches? My freezer seems to contain an abundance thereof, and GF doesn't eat fish.
piggers - a small who likes fish fingers would be ideal
Jazee - I'll stick to cider in future! I hope Mr J improves and continues to get well xx
Round 1 completed - I'm sure that laundry hamper once belonged to Mary Poppins!!!! How did all that fit in there??? First load of the day is swishing and I've done the first laundry shuffle to make room for it. Definitely will not miss all that underwear - how can one person wear so much underwear in one week? (Assuming DS hasn't started wearing skimpy bits of not-a-lot)
OO - I think a hoolie just blew through and sent lashings of rain on my window!
Round 2 =
feed the birds
put out the recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
BIG HUGS

Fayolle said:Lol. I don't mind you sending me a small but I don't want your OH - or anyone else's for that matter!
But if you have a small who likes fish fingers I'm your man woman.
What if ...(at this point people who know me well generally start to look worried, but I think this is a good idea) ....what if I set up DS's room as a Haven for Distressed Flyladies? Or even a Haven for Flyladies. You can come, as long as you aren't allergic to dust and you like fish fingers lol And you haven't got nits - just remembered that one from pigger's visitor rules. And NO OHs!
Right - pots

Wet and windy day here too. Was about to go for a walk when it started to throw it down so now sitting in the LR with the stove lit. OH listening to the Grand Prix.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Windows have been open but closed now
Desk is now completely clear ready for OH to work there tomorrow; Outstanding paperwork moved to DR table where I will work through it. It won't hang around there for long as I do keep the dining room tidy. When it was redecorated I only put what I wanted in there and took photos, now I get very iriitated when it is not up to scratch and have realised that actually it doesn't take long to put it back to how it should be.
Yesterday I made chocolate macarons following a Boozy Bakers bake a long on F book. First time I had done one, it was a challenge from a friend but I must admit I am very impressed with the results. Problem is I have more than a dozen chocolate macarons filled with a chocolate and caramel Baileys ganache, I definitely had a chocolate hangover this morning. I have just put some in the freezer, I don't know if they will be ok later or not but it is the only way to stop us eating them all today.
Will try and sort through something with OH here this afternoon, maybe in the filing cabinet which is bulging at the seams. Or we could go in the garage, we just need to get at least one bin bag of rubbish out. That is my weekly obejective to have full bins and at least one extra bag.
Happy Sunday,

Morning all
I’ve been doing some gentle pottering so far this morning, tidied some things away in the bedroom, swished over the downstairs loo, wm x 2 run, 1 is on the airer and 1 in the TD, after lashing it down earlier it’s now quite nice, I’m not sure if it’s going to stay that way though. Airing cupboard sorted out, everything put away except the ironing pile which DH will do.
DH is finishing off the ground floor hoovering, I’ve also taken out the recycling, hip is still very painful so I will be having a do a bit, rest a bit sort of day. This is my rest a bit section
I would love to head out for a walk but I don’t think that’s on the cards today, reading, knitting, some paperwork and some more pottering to make sure I don’t seize up!!
have a good day all x6 -

I am definitely not allergic to dust and I definitely haven't got nits. And I won't bring DH!
This morning I was in the WAC at 5.00but I finished reading a genealogical mystery that has only been on my K!nd1e for 2 weeks. I have done some work for my course and tidied up the front garden, almost filling the green garden waste bin in the process. All the daffodil bulbs are now planted out, but I am trying to decide what to do with the gladioli which were planted late in pots and are still very green, and the alliums of which there are dozens - I haven't actually got enough pots to put them in, but I think if I plant them out in the garden the squirrels will only dig them up again. I do love my garden but...
Sounds like you have a binbag plan, Mademoiselle!
Take it easy, BadCat.
Hope there is a good outcome to the search, kaz.

Well!
texted DS yesterday as I needed help to move a unit (wooden trolley thing) out of the Vallimobile and into the shed for my mini freezer to sit on (was on a plantpot topped with a mesh). So I was idling in bed around 10:30 when he texted me to see where I was. He was outside and I couldn't hear the housephone (in kitchen and lounge) and my mobile was set to voicemail *shrugs as clueless as to why that was*.
Anyhoo I let him in, got dressed, moved unit, had to remove shelf in shed for it to sit under, then persuaded him to help me get stuff into loft. We had a coffee then I persuaded him to take some more of his stuff out. After he had gone I showered, had breakfast, cleaned rabbit hutch, pegged out washing - dry, sunny and blowy here! - and binned some stuff from shed and my old (and frankly disgusting) loo roll holder as I got one in Mr L and it was 30% off - win win! Ive also done a bit of slash and burn in the garden (clematis chopped back) and planted one of my rescued plants, my cyclamen - well part of - 'under' the clematis.
So the guest room no longer has a heavy TV wall stand on display, or a snow shovel - the former in the attic; the latter DS (owner) was persuaded to take - no good here if it snows and I already have one!
Need to set up rabbit hutch and pack and post an ebay sale.

That settles it then. It's a plan.
DS's dad has spoken to DS about hiring a man with a van to move their furniture from GF's parents' house in pigpen land and from here: December 5th is now being discussed as moving date - which is the final weekend of my week's leave. I've also lined up DS's Dad to decorate DS's bedroom followed by my bedroom.
1st WM load draped on the airer, 2nd and 3rd WM loads pegged out. It cleared up and it's windy so I bunged a load of towels in, then DS's work shirts.
I still haven't WUDUPA, but I've been to Mr C00p to get food to last until Mr T comes tonight and I'm watching BTCC on telly, plus reading my book in between races.

Sorry I’ve been AWOL this weekend ladies, I’ve been listening to my body and now taking it easy. We did have a big autumn walk today, and I’ve now lit the fire and intend to nap. The children are playing minecraft happily. Easy dinner of jacket spuds for tea.
See you all on the new thread xx8
