Belated birthday wishes Fayolle.
A good flying day.
- one load of washing done.
- I blitzed spare room in preparation for DB
- Ditto bathroom.
- Mr N did lounge, hall and our bedroom. I joined him to finish off the en suite so that's almost the house done.
- Did 2 flower arrangements, one for lounge and one for spare room.
- went for run. 6.95km, huh wish I hadn't cut across one footpath or it would have been 7km. Lots of mud. ick.
- Did drum practice.
- Finished and emailed a report.
- Put together and labelled paperwork for tomorrow and Thursday's assessments.
- Paid cc bill.
- Culled another few emails and now also working my way through downloads.
Nothing on the Christmas card writing or the online course today.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
I love flylady but have been needing some motivation to get back on the wagon, this looks like it. Also less American and irritating. Let's see if I actually do it...Home educating mama of 2, aiming to be self-employed in 2021

Morning all, and welcome @naomij1411
This is the final call to sign up for the Flylady Secret Santa - you have until midnight tonight. If you don't receive a PM from me tomorrow, it's because I don't have your details. I can't post a list of names on here because that would mean it would no longer be a proper secret!!!
My flying plan for today is
- DH's ensuite and bedroom
- WMx1
- garden
- Rosie's walk
- yet more admin
- find a pattern and see if I can manage to knit again
- z00m business meeting this evening
I have already noticed a mistake in my expected outgoings for next month (twice a year the TV licence direct debit takes slightly less than usual) which will mean a teensy weensy bit of money saving
Hope everyone has a good day. (((Hugs))) to Jazee, YL, WAC members, and anyone else who needs them xxx9 -
Morning all. Welcome Naomi. Hope your hip improves soon Badcat.
I have dropped DH off at the hospital, a round trip of one and a half hours which I'll do again later when he can come home. Just finishing breakfast. I have put the recycling out but am planning on just pottering today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Aiming to nip to town to bank this *points* before work.
One good thing - instead of having event after event to bank for I've only got this at the moment - so I can keep up with it.

Hi folks, a late check in from me. It's a public holiday here so OH is home. DD1 left this morning after I had finished her ironing. Been for a long (well just over an hour as that's all we're allowed to do - we did cheat this morning and do an hour and a quarter and probably further than 1 km from home but up in the fields so no one about).
Bed made, clothes picked up
Living room tidied
Dining room tidied (DD1 had been studying in it)
Kitchen tidied, DW unloaded
OH backed up computer
It's now dull, damp and windy outside so stove is on and I'm going to get the crochet out.
See you all tomorrow for more flying9 -

Are carpet fitters 'allowed' to work right now?
I would send them all to help you if we were closer... actually no.. I'd send OH and tag along ..
5 hours in the kitchen and it is vaguely clearer.. I have sorted knickers to upstairs drawers and put tights in the school clothes cupboards and hung out 2 loads of washing and folded 3 baskets full which are on my bed needing putting away. I repainted 2 nails which had trashed polish so feeling unglittery. DW was on 3 times I think..2 more loads of washing done.
Moomin has moved all her furniture about and vacuumed about 7 times.
I have messaged a carpet fitter and someone to look at the moisture in the chimney breast.. I had a damp proofy guy out a few weeks ago but he wasn't very nice so I wouldn't give him work and because he was rude I need a second opinion.. so we shall see what this one says.Pack ups need to be done next.. and dinner.. and tomorrow the backroom is being emptied so the underlay rolls (45m") can go in there out of the hallway.

I have had a super busy day as it was my last day in the office in my job - my notice is up at the end of this week, so feels exciting and scary all at once. This also means I need to crack on with a bit of housework this evening. I'd be happy to get done any of the Wednesday things, and some laundry. Can I post the list here and cross them off later? I feel like this sort of self-commitment could help...
level 1
strip bed (if necessary) and leave to air
open windows
clear floordrobe/chair drobe
use long duster and roll rouns top of walls for webs and light fittings
level 2
remake bed
dust sills, shelves and furniture
empty bins
Daily
s&s bathroom
s&s kitchen
laundry on
laundry to dry
Extras
Emptied kitchen bins
Put wheelie bin out
Feeling quite happy with that for an early evening's work.Home educating mama of 2, aiming to be self-employed in 2021
