Welcome Moredaisy.
Main things I must do a bit of each day this week:
report writing Almost finished one.
online course Did a couple of sections
drum practice
writing Christmas cards Need to update list which is currently lurking at the bottom of my 'in' tray from last year
some sort of flying er.....cleaned handbasin in en suite. Picked up a load of clothes from the bedroom floor. Er. Um. tomorrow.
keep on running, not every day but at least 3 times/week not a run but Mr N and I went for a lovely walk, up a steep hill so surely that counts? Poor thing is struggling with his RA, the new tablets don't work as well as the hated Methotrexate injections so he has the choice of either lots of psoriasis plus pain in hands and feet OR feeling sick for 2 days each week. Consultant next week.
keep deleting old emails Restored access to email client has proved successful. Culled about a hundred, plenty to go. Also working my way through a very full 'downloads' folder.
My brother is lodging tomorrow so that means Mr N and I will have a reason to fly round the house.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
I am exhausted.
I got the paint from the shed to slop over moomins bedroom .. it was dark colours and is going to be pale pink and grey.. so it is now cream.. I didn't intend to paint it today it just kind of happened. It looks SO much lighter. It was lovely before but is so bright and airy now .. I can not wait to see it finished. I need to decide on what to do with the damp wall.. it needs repointing I am certain but I don't know whether to have it dry lined as well for extra dryness and insulation or what to do.The new carpet is the perfect colour I wanted though so I am rather pleased with that.
I am not sure whether to invest in a double bed for Moomin.. it is a very large room for just her but I think we may likely be having her boyfriend move in shortly which is fine so long as he is contributing financially. I am too tired to think straight on this though.
Religiously and obsessively checking emails for the grant application.. I REALLY need that.. I think it would save the above repointing/drylining issue. It also means I can look into funding the other things I need to get fixed anddetermines how much I need to discuss with the bank.
Tuesday I need to ring about getting Moomin in for bloods checking.. she just looks permanently exhausted. I thought the every other week in college would help but she is just not ok.So many decisions and so few ZZzzzzz's..

Happy birthday for yesterday Fayolle xx
I was awake at 1am. I'm awake now. I sincerely hope that the rest of you are fast asleep. (When I was asleep I had bad dreams 🥴. Aaarrrggghh)
I'll think about flying to pass the time.

Morning friends,
Many happy returns for yesterday @Fayolle 🥳🥳🍷🍷I hope your headache has eased.
AF is here along with her associated annoyances! Oh well, black maxi skirt for me today 😂😂. The SC is on with veg & chorizo soup, the children are getting their uniforms on and I have made the pack ups. Another eBay sale over night is £20 in the pot for me 🥳🥳.Happy Tuesday all xx PS it's STILL foggy here!8 -
Good morning everyone
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I’m not a birthday fan for myself, so a lockdown birthday suited me just fine...**as she grumps off muttering**....🤣.
Parrot taken before bed seems to have done the trick with the headache, and I only woke about 4am to make sure Round was ok in the WAC 😉.
No work today. I have a list in my head. Never a good sign, so I need to commit it to paper. The rain and murk is due back later so it’s indoor jobs again for me.
DD is up. First job - get her to school and fill the car up with petrol on the way back, which takes the pressure off me in the morning when I am dashing to work.Have a lovely day all x8 -
Morning lovelies,
Belated happy birthday Fayolle, hope you're feeling better.
DD1 home which is lovely, I am slowly working through her monster pile of washing. She did my flu jab yesterday so I need to drop the used needle etc into the doctors so it can be recorded. Going to do some cooking this afternoon so she has some food to take home and maybe even some cake or biscuits. Off to a good start this morning
Up, showered & dressed
WM on
Pack up lunch done for OH
Living room tidied
Bed made, clothes picked up
Windows open
Kitchen tidied
Downstairs hoovered
Leftover bits of mouse cleared up
Cooking and washing clothes are my priority today, see you later, time for more coffee now
