I have flown:
- cleaned kitchen worktops, drawer/door handles, small appliances; windowsill and table
- hoovered all through downstairs
- coerced DH into steam mopping the kitchen floor
- dusted and hoovered bedrooms, landing and stairs
- FUPA clean washing from bathroom airers
- had my shower and cleaned bathroom, including bleaching the shower mat *before* it got covered with black mould
Will reward myself with lunch out with my friend S in our separate cars on the GC car parkwhile DH goes to the leg clinic.
Looking out of the window, I can see the man who lives on the far side of the copse burning leaves. I'm glad the wind is blowing away from our house and towards his!!!

All done except steam mopping floors as I'm now feeling lazy.Spend less now, work less later.9

Well who would have thought it? I am almost on the “proper” list for the day! Weather man got it wrong - mist and murk has cleared to blue skies and sunshine, although annoyingly I had already decided to blitz the flying rather than pootle about outside.
So - upstairs cleaned through, including bathroom and ensuite. Cleaned the extractor fan which has been on my list for ages. Cleaned down the stairs, hall and cloakroom whilst I was at it. Towels and cleaning cloths washed and blowing on the line, bins emptied. HHI cleared. A few bits picked up from the village shop - primarily a huge hm chocolate cake to take into work tomorrow, as cba to make it myself and I would rather support the small business than travel to a supermarket.
I am grabbing a quick sandwich then I will put dinner into the sc. I have definitely peaked flyingwise for the day. Funnily enough, I have still managed to avoid doing the admin jobs.

I've been shopping and picked up my parcel
Cooked and eaten lunch with DD1
More loads into the WM & TD
HHI
So next is baking, banana loaf and carrot cupcakes! I don't normally bake so this could be a challenge9 -
Well I finally got my chair back.. I'm not sure I am keen on having Twinkle home, she steals my chair!! lol. She is now sprawled on the sofa wrapped in a blanket.. honestly she lives the life!
OH has loaded the DW and made 1000 cups of tea lol and cleaned up cat poo.. gggrrrr, blooming Hazel is just turding anywhere and everywhere.. she does it out of spite not because she has lost her marbles.I have done 2 x WM1x DW2x TD (just airing the stuff from the line)
1 load folded ready to go away.
Cleaned one loo.. if it isn't nice for me to vomit in .. (I NEVER vomit).. then it gets cleaned.. I can't bear a dirty loo and our water practically has chunks of limescale in it as it comes out of the tap so the poor bowl is a state.
Ordered Moomin a cake for her birthday on the 17th.. she is 18 and really wanted a party.. glad I didn't book anything now like I wanted to. She can have an '18+1th'/'18 v.2.0' next year lol.
Having another cuppa.. then I have 2 ebeast parcels to package and OH can post after the school run.
Moomins room actually look bearable after the repaint yesterday.. it's so bright and looks twice the size and not cavelike.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
Carrot cupcakes and banana choc chip muffins made here. AND I cleared up as soon I put them in the oven, now that didn't take long so why have I always left the mess before. I don't bake because it makes too much mess but today has shown me that it's not so hard after all. Thank you ladies, you have taught me something!
Not sure what we're having for dinner, I have some boneless pork chops or sausages and a red cabbage I want to use.
But time for a cuppa and a read of my book8 -
Afternoon all
Flying not happening here, my hip is excruciatingly painful... managed to get a telephone consult with Dr who thinks it’s bursitis, either that or osteoarthritis, super strong painkillers picked up from pharmacy, everything I do hurts! Sorry to moan but I can honestly say I’ve broken my ankle and leg in three places and I’m sure the pain wasn’t as bad....
Anyway I know others have worse to deal with so I won’t bore you any more.
Happy very belated birthday to Fayolle.
Hugs etc to the rest of you x
Will pick up on the lists when I can, i will be flying along in spirit with you x7 -
I am also late wishing Fayolle a happy birthday, but hope you had a nice day x
Long day at the paid stuff yesterday so not much flying done, other than the basics. Took an extended lunch hour to get out on the bike today for an hour, tired now. In the office tomorrow so need to be off early. Have lit the fire rather than put heating on, will put washing in front of it before I go to bed.
Pigpen poor Moomin having her 18th birthday in lockdown. My DS is 22 on the 16th, and my Mum is 80 on the 17th, dont think we will be doing much celebrating for either of them.

next 2 loads of washing done, including Dots coat which someone had knocked off the coat peg into a stealthy cat turd and was then pee'd on by Nutkin.. he pee's on EVERYTHING.. I want to tie his winky in a bow!
DW been on again
Knitting frogged and restarted.. it just feels wrong.. I think it is the yarn rather than anything else.. I might go grab something different and try that. I am waiting for the superchunky to finish DS1's jumper.
Dot still creating upstairs.. we had to do 2 school runs this morning she was being so non-compliant.. OH took the other 2 while I dragged her off her bed, she was hiding not sleeping and had already had breakfast, got her dressed and brushed and ready for when he got back. She ended up taking her favourite stuffed dog but she was apparently calmer during the day.. then has gone utterly wild this evening. I am thinking something has gone very wrong at school this morning, there was another child having a full on meltdown at drop off time so it isn't just her struggling which is reassuring even if the other parents don't think so.
I am bored senseless... BUT.. my underlay has come so I may well be fitting my own carpet next week once I have got this room emptied.. 2 sofas, a chair, a full 6ft bookcase, the tv, unit and 5 consoles, the pouffe, a trofast unit, the cat tree, a bedside cabinet, 4 tiny tables, OH's 1PC, 2 little Ike@ chairs and a million boxes of random shpoop... and we need to take the door off.. and while it is off OH can strip the paint off it.. outside.. in the cold..
Are carpet fitters 'allowed' to work right now?
