Make sure with the Vine case that you refer to the appeal. Excel cite this case totally out of context. 

Thornton relates to a barrier car park whereby the signage is prominent at the entry to the car park. 

They might pull. Three hours is expensive@ around £125.00 plus VAT per hour. There is also the first hearing. 

I wonder if the judge has asked for the transcripts and a three hour hearing to force a settlement. You could suggest a drop of hands in the light of the three hour hearing.  Even if you were to lose they will not recover the costs.

My understanding is that if the case is allocated for three hours then the company that provides the representation is paid three hours even if the case lasts ten minutes. It is not viable.

Sadly some scammers are so pig headed they will batter away irrespective of the cost versus gain, even if they win.

Hi All,

my final hearing is listed for 6th September and below are a list of cases i need. i have found transcripts for most of them but have not found for the last two- anyone seen them before or know where i can find them?

also as the Judge requested transcripts should i just copy and paste these in to further exhibits part of my WS or just add the links as it will make the document very lengthy.

I doubt that the Semark julienn case is required , but definitely the Wilkinson case is required

Can't see the Recorder Cohen judgment mentioned above either

Imo you should make it lengthy, the judge is well paid.  When/if you win ask for costs for printing and your time.

Regulars on here tend to read most if not all threads , filing away useful knowledge , you never stop learning , so looking at old statements and bundles only goes so far , been several additional topics since the pandemic started , the recorder Cohen was mentioned in the last few months

I doubt that these are for a defence template , they are included in the witness statement bundle
