You are talking semantics, £282 has gone out of my bank account, that money is GONE, lost !! As for your opening remark, what I said was "for those of us who have limited incomes and had booked holidays and flights like us, the latter applying to us. Stop trying to split hairs to justify your comments!0

If the flight had gone ahead - the £282 would still have been GONE
Therefore claiming hardship as a result of one scenario but not the other is flawed logic
I still don’t disagree that you are entitled to a refund (and never have) - you should be, I am merely stating that your resulting affordability/hardship logic is flawed1 -
It's been pointed out to you that there is nothing stopping you making the trip anyway so why are you exercising your rights to do so?Leodogger said:You are talking semantics, £282 has gone out of my bank account, that money is GONE, lost !! The flight has gone on Friday ! Unless you hadn't noticed, it is against the law to fly during the lockdown.cubegame said:

Fairly good reason, but you should have been on it......Leodogger said:

I am one of those few people left in this country that doesn't believe in flouting the law. Other people break it and then expect the law to be there for them when they need it and condemn others that DO break the law. I am not a hypocrite !cubegame said:

For the last time - any financial hardship will be caused by other factors e.g. reduction of wages NOT the lack of a refund from a product that has already been paid for when times were better and affordability wasn’t an issue.Leodogger said:

The fact that the money would help doesn’t mean that any hardship can be attributed to it.0 -
And you are to be commended for that - I wish more had that outlook on the situationLeodogger said:

We are pensioners, wages are not involved.ToxicWomble said:
