    Well done Tahlullah and SuperSavingD imageimageimage I need to bung some cash in to the pot for a colleague who is leaving after many years who I work closely with, so not an NSD for me, but apart from that hoping to pretty much go through till payday if at all possible image
  • NSD  8/15  today  thanks cathybird will  need a   Lidl  shop before the  end  of the  month  but  nothing  urgent friend  gave  me  a  £5  off  voucher  for  a  £40  spend  so if  i  hold  off   i can  do i  big  shop  before i  go  for  surgery  on  27th Nov

    Bought stationary for the foodbank but that does not count. 
    Could not believe how much the tippex mouse costs now so did not buy one.

  • Dropping in to say that yesterday and today have been no spend days - yay  B) Brings me to a total of 7/10. The rest of the week is looking pretty thrifty as well so fingers crossed for a good run of nsds.

    Another NSD for me today taking me to 8/15. Might do some Christmas shopping later, but as mentioned previously I've budgeted for gifts all year so won't count it.
    Everyone's doing so well already this month :) 
    Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)
    Save £12k in 2021 #76 = £11,857.21/ £10,000 (118%)


  • Sadly not for me.
    I drove home certain I was going to do 6 days steaight of no spending
    My son has come home and he's got a school award. His school is very big on discipline and progress (church of england school) so he got it for reading 6 days a week at home since we went back in september and for doing all his homework.
    Extra nice for his because he was an absolute nightmare until we got his ADHD diagnosis and medication! TBH his school have worked damned hard with him.
    Anyway... its cost me take away pizza, side and dips... 
    Not that bothered he's on from nightmare student and bottom of the class from reception till year 2.
    Now in year 5, model student and hitting all his yearly targets and exceeding in others.
    Sorry for long post... it's just nice to see him recognised for trying.
    Anyway best get him to do his reading before the meds wear off.

    Evening peps Hope all is well . Today and yesterday was another nsd!!! I'm very happy with how this way is making me more aware of spending thoso pennies when it's not needed!! 

    Tomorrow I will need to.get more juice as ran out today!! Will pop to lidis and only get juice!! No junk food....got enough indoors!! Plus I need to lose this weight!! 

    I don't drink tea or coffee. Hot chocolate only when its really cold. Manly juice and water whist at work!! Pay day is next friday!! 

    Tomorrow hoping to do some more work out in the garden. I'm digging post holes 2 more to do!! Not good when my post spade broke on me today!! Tried using it without the long handle 🤣🤣 

    Will need to buy some postcret and a bit of wood. Hopefully the weather will be good for it as I'm off work for a few days now!!
