Evening SPCers! I hope everyone's enjoyed a lovely weekend.  😄 Have a good week, rain included!

For all those not feeling so good or are a little low, please take care, and I really hope you're soon back with us.  For now, here are some hugs and look after yourselves ❤️

Hi Ant, I guess what suits one doesn't suit another, and the Naproxen and the Morphine Sulfate most certainly didn't suit poor DH! They really made him ill, poor lovey. Today is the first day he's had something a little substantial to eat as the awful stomach ache just wouldn't go.
Finally, the Dr has decided he needs an MRI and has marked it as urgent, he's still in awful pain, the worse he's had in our almost 50 years of marriage!
Take care Ant, keep saving for that wonderful break, and thank you.

Very good news scotmumof3, keep it flowing! Take care

    Some really good news!!

Our first great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose, was born yesterday the same date as her elder brother and my cousin, Steve. She weighed a very healthy 8lb 4ozs!
DH & I are really thrilled as are her parents and grandparents ❤️
Not so good news is that our darling youngest grandson has the Virus and is feeling rotten!

Have a good Wednesday, folks Keep very safe and healthy!!

    Sue xx

  • Oh your poor husband Sue.  Constant pain really drags you down and it's often a struggle to find the correct medication, isn't it.  G is still trying to get it right after more than 3 years. I hope T can be sorted very soon, an MRI sounds like a very good idea.
That is brilliant news on the birth of your Great Granddaughter! Congratulations all round! Ivy Rose is a beautiful name :)
Not such good news about your Grandson.  Sending healing thoughts to him.....
Good news at the new Sweetie Towers!
We finally got the keys at 3.20pm on 21st.  Having packed the van by 10.30am,  the men drove away with all our worldly goods to oversee another job leaving me, G and DD in the empty house twiddling our thumbs, so us girls gave the house a jolly good clean then sat on the floor awaiting the call to release our keys to the buyers.  It reminded me of when we were first married in 1971 and had a house but no furniture!  The call came at 2.20pm then we set off for the new bungalow only to wait an hour for the funds to be recognised :(   All's well that ends well though.  The new bungalow is warm, cosy and, above all, QUIET :)

But I digress....I won 10p on Topcashback's Hummingbird game...potted! Now I just need to see how much this little haven is going to cost us and get some potting organised .  It will soon be the big day!

    Happy potting everyone!

Evening SPCers! I hope you're all prepared for a good weekend, despite the forecast rain!  😄 Have a good weekend!

For all those not feeling so good or are a little low, please take care, and I really hope you're soon back with us.  For now, here are some hugs and look after yourselves ❤️

Hi A little_sweetie, T is still sadly in a lot of pain, they haven't even given him any other medication after the others proved worthless!
G's still obviously having a struggle getting his sorted, 3 years is appalling!!

Appalling too was how your removal chaps treated you! What a shocking amount of time to have left you for!! 😡
Thank goodness your safely settled in and in peace at last.
Well done with your 10p!! ☺️

Sadly, it's not just our grandson who has Covid, his dad and today his dear mum, our DD, have it too!!
Worse still, our darling little great-grandson, Sonny, went down with it yesterday, his 1st birthday was on Sunday, he didn't get it then, it was on Monday, the day of Ivy's birth, yet only Sonny has it and yet baby Ivy Rose and her 2 little brothers along with their mum & dad, our elder DGD, were in the same room!!! 😳 Thank goodness our daughter always has at least 2 windows open! Darling little Sonny looks terrible in the photos our younger DGD sent us, last night he was so very flushed and truly whacked out, bless him. Ironically, his mum and dad are both, so far ok, and DGD said nothing of feeling poorly last night or today. I pray to God he soon recovers, that they all do, but especially Sonny, one so very, very young.

Many congratulations to you all, Siju, on the birth of your darling granddaughter!!! 💖👶💖 Congratulations to you all!! ☺️ As little_sweetie says, there's something just that bit special about the 1st, after that, they're all so very special, but each in their own way, so much like our own treasures were and are!
Many thanks for the congratulations on the birth of Ivy Rose, I knew yours and our treasures were going to be close, but just a day!!! ☺️ Marvellous!
Great potting and very well done on your first roadkill for so long!

So many thanks, scotmumof3, so very kind. Oh I do hope they find the reason why, fingers crossed!
It works out both ways when we're unable to save, so mustn't grumble.

    Excellent potting Lost!!!
Very many thanks for the congratulations, we're all prepared for the 2 extra to buy gifts for, just as well! 🥰☺️
So many thanks for DH, it's been a long time coming, but let's hope we finally get some good news - I hope!

Have a very good WEEKEND, folks Do keep VERY safe and healthy!!
