Whole house hoovered/swept/mopped. Living room done properly. There was a crisp bag along with assorted dog chews under the sofa. Yuk. About to put third load in machine, then sit back with a cuppa and read.Spend less now, work less later.8

Well I am sorting through 17 boxes of christmas presents.. only 3 boxes are large thankfully! I found some bits I had forgotten about so I can cross 3 more people off my list.. that makes me many happies.. unfortunately I also found a 7th item for OH after I said we wouldn't buy each other this year and would save for a summer house for the garden... oh well lol. I sorted a box of stuff for my mother to be gifting at christmas too.. me, OH, most of the smalls and Moomin.. Everyone else and my birthday to buy for them.
I have filled both WM's
2x DW
1x TD
Folded a load of dry stuff and put it away.
Sorted all 4 of the girls chests of drawers.. they are VERY empty.. VERY empty! I have filled 2 binbags for my sisters friends children and half a binbag for DD1's house. I have 1 box for CS and 2 binbags of ebeasty stuff. I am sorting christmas stuff, I found a few bits in there to Ebeast too.. The tops of the chests off drawers should then be a bit tidier and the floor of the landing entirely visible.
I am going to go finish rearranging and sorting christmas stuff and I think it may be time to call it quits on today.. I am exhausted!
*adds PJs to Squeaks christmas list, adds a gag to Dots lol* She is RUNNING up and down the hallway shrieking..

Guest room painted all bar the glossing - 'snagging' done in hallway - I removed the doorbell box (doorbell itself was removed some years ago lol) filled the screw holes and painted over the green rectangle (hall was green when we moved in; it was subsequently done in Natural Wicker). I also filled the holes where the front door blind lived (there used to be a door in the middle with two glass panels full height at the sides so we used to have a vertical blind) and painted them, and the holes where the telephone lived and painted over them. Upstairs I filled in the holes made by DS's computer cable (name of which escapes me) and painted them. And a couple of marks on the walls have been touched up. While you can see the new paint (if you know where to look) it looks better than it did.
In the guest room the preparation has paid dividends...as has the decision to do two coats. Though I says it as shouldn't a good job has been done.
DW emptied and dirty pots put in so kitchen looks less horrific.
And a very old and wizened frog has been removed from the Toots list - I have one of those little bare wood drawer units from Ike@. I have finally painted it. I store the instruction books/leaflets in two of the drawers so there will be a cull as I put them back (though I am quite good at culling) - top drawer is my 'pending' drawer lol. It is painted in Chic Shadow.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Pigpen I only have 3 people living in my house, and the youngest is 21, so it should be fairly organised!
Good day at work, almost finished a piece of work that has been dragging on for ages which is good. I made a list of things I have been putting off doing and I am working my way through them, none of them are as bad as I thought.
DH has been at home so he has been dusting and hoovering. DS is back from a trip away with work with a pile of washing including 3 coats! Weather forecast looks OK tomorrow but the 2 puffa jackets need to go in the tumbler to fluff them up. Going to watch a bit of telly, kitchen needs a bit of a tidy but DS and GF are in there eating their tea so will leave it for now.8 -
Christmas presents sorted.. Thank flumps for that! I have enough for the 4 smalls once I have got the 3 other things I have planned and I need 18 tubes of sweets.. and 9 advent calendars. DD1, Boog, Meem, Quaverface and then I need to 3 grandbeasties and all is done.. then I can do my mothers shopping!! .. I also have 3 boxes to ebeast now instead of 2.. On that fine note I am showering my gross dusty self and going to the pub with my mother and her cough and me and my cough.. double date! lol She is paying, I have 63p. I think she wants to moan about SD.. again..
Wm x 2 on
I am quite excited by the thought of ebeasting this stuff.. If it brings in £200 I will be beside myself with glee.. that is Novembers goal I need to tot up my October sales, see if I hit the £250 target.

great work by everyone especially Pigpen and Valli.
Started the day by adding to the kitchen clutter by putting the bread machine on (it lives on a shelf so isn't usually in the way).
Went to aqua aerobics. Returned to find that Mr N had rearranged the mass of apples I'd washed into two huge.....areas. Can't complain that he didn't prepare and freeze any as he'd washed up and spent the day finishing the bit of flooring he has put in the loft, which will make retrieving Xmas decs and filing old reports much less of a hazard.
One load washing on, now hanging on a rack in the spare bedroom as it's rained a lot today. Must move it tomorrow as my brother is visiting.
Finished and emailed report.
Did drumming practice. Tidied clutter from dining room table where I'd had the Zoom lesson yesterday - put away laptop, headphones, books to stand laptop on, sticks, bongos, practice pad etc.
Made an apple cake which did us for pudding and will do for cake and pudding tomorrow.
Did a large and fairly satisfying de-cluttering of kitchen: washed up all breadmaker attachments so it could go back on its shelf; put remaining apples into three baskets so they are neat and out of the way; gave 6 large apples to ndn; put the tomato and squash seeds I've been drying on kitchen roll into labelled envelopes and stored in a drawer in the conservatory; washed up cooking stuff. Mr N swept the floor (how did so many apple peelings get there?) and I wiped down all surfaces.
Checked task list.
Carefully phrased a response to workplace student who emailed me to say she is having another anxious week amidst job threats.
Haven't yet done any of my online course but the night is yet young.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Morning all, I'm up, showered and dressed
Bed made, clothes picked up
DW unloaded, kitchen tidy
Recycling out
Time sheet done for October using new system8 -
Morning all - I too am up, showered and dressed.
Washing on line (towels) as it's blowy. More importantly, after two days confined to barracks because of the heavy rain, two bunnies are running round the garden.
Plan for today is to lift all masking tape, wipe the skirting boards and sill then paint them.

Morning all,
Hope you are all well today. This is forecast to be our only dry day, so the WM is on and we are booked into a local big charity park for the afternoon. That will blow off the cobwebs! Dinner of beef stew is in the SC to warm us up later. My floors are filthy, my dining table is covered in crafting stuff but its half term so I don't care! I hope you are have lovely days whatever you are doing xx9
