Morning
bet you thought I had forgotten the list ....I have been really busy with DD's help the guest room has now been painted with proper prep done beforehand. Pondering the necessity of a second coat. Ankles painful esp. right one, ibuprofen taken.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hope the ibuprofen works on your ankle Valli.
Well we are back home. It rained all the ways to DDs house en route to the coast so we've dropped the dogs off to stay with them for a couple of days and come home. Really disappointed. So I have changed the bedding, done the dailies and dusted the living room.
I am now going to spend the rest of the day knitting, reading and watching telly. If it does dry up then we'll try to fit a walk in.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Progress so far:
- kitchen levels 1 and most of 2 done thoroughly (not started on utility yet)
- found minging lettuce in salad drawer of fridge; cut off the bad bits and have a respectable helping which - once shredded and mixed with a bit of ham and cheese - will be used up in eggy wraps for our lunch
- cleaned kitchen windows inside, then the window cleaner appeared and has done all the outside
- showered and dressed
- sent the first few PMs/texts/ emails from a long list
- sorted washing and started WMx1 of 2
I want to go out in the garden for an hour while the sun is shining and pot up the fuchsias, but I have some more urgent admin to do, so I'll get myself a coffee and knuckle down to that first and hope that the sun hangs on in there until I'm ready.8 -
Good afternoon!
Thanks Valli for the lists, and thanks Natty for last week. I'm sorry I have been such a bad Flylady! We have done a week of isolation, and we are all moving less & less!
I have checked emails and bank accounts. DD2 got up early. She emptied the DW, restacked it, made banana muffins and WULTD. So at least some of the kitchen has been done
I need to try and up my steps a bit (maybe a bit of dancing around the kitchen?) as I am struggling to hit 4K!
I am going to empty the food bin into Lottie the Hottie, and then potter in the kitchen so that I can at least cross something off!
Have a good day everyone!9 -
Thanks for the list and the Xmas message Natty and Valli
Quite pleased with myself so far although it bears little resemblance to the actual list.
Went for a run.
Had a shower and gave cubicle a good clean while I was in there.
Hoovered lounge, hall, kitchen, stairs and landing.
Washed and sorted one bag of apples - we went to what I'm now calling the MSE tree i.e. it is on a bridleway, is owned by nobody so all the apples are free. Anyway we filled 2 carrier bags with them; I weighed the biggest apple this morning and it was just short of 1 pound. I think this afternoon will be a production line of chopping, bagging and freezing.
Typed a new freezer inventory as our handwritten ones had got in such a mess. Doubtless these will too but at least I have it on the computer so will be easy to amend.
Caught up with emails although waiting to find out what time my remote drumming lesson is - finally got sound settings sorted out.
Chose this week's offers on my C0 0p app. Actually not too exciting a choice this week.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Thank you for the Christmas prompt Valli - Mr M is delivering 13 Christmas presents along with the rest of my order tomorrow (fingers crossed everything is in stock)
