Well yesterday was a bit rough... so trying to 'make' myself have a better day after my pity party yesterday.
Firstly, I have given my son his ADHD meds (typically we don't medicate weekends and holidays) most people think its the hyperactivity thats bad. That I can cope with but for me its the constant noise.... he makes random noises. He doesn't like noise unless its his noise. We have a fortnight locked in the house.. so trying to make it as easy as possible.
I've also watched a lot of stuff about minimising and minimalism... so today I shall start!
First the fish tank... well clean it, I can't exactly minimise the fish! But I usually make a mess in the bathroom.
Excerise the dog in the garden
Then minimise and deep clean the bathroom (hence cleaning out the fishtank first)
Also hoping for a NSD
Sorry for the non mse content of the post.
Its mid month and financially nothing is going on. I was hoping to sell some things on ebay.. obviously I've taken down the listings. Will leave it a month then thoroughly clean them and relist again...

Oh good luck with the declutter and minimising. There are a few threads re:banish the clutter on here.
Always worthwhile to do and a good question to ask yourself is Would I be willing to pay to replace this? - if its a no it's a going to go.
I am trying for 3 things a day as an ongoing declutter. Not a lot sparks joy at mine lol I don't do the fancy folding either.
I'm not totally "minimalist" yet lol.

Couldsavemore said:It certainly does, I'm part of a cluster of cases at work. None of us tested positive with the 'classic' symptoms.
I certainly wouldn't have got tested because I feel like I have a cold and a sore throat. I only got tested because of others testing positive with the same symptoms.
I can also see why some one would have come to work with these symptoms.Glad your symptoms are mild! I hope you recover fast. Isolation is a pain, but in a weird way you're lucky it's happened now during 'lockdown' anyway, so you're not missing out on too much. Hopefully you catch the Christmas rush with your ebay listings when you put them back up.
It must be frustrating being in lockdown with a dog and child though - two balls of energy to contend with?I suppose it helps with no spend days too!

It went really well, was suprised by how much came out of the bathroom! Did half of my bedroom as well.
Are you finding its getting easier to let things go?
Are you feeling less stressed with less stuff?# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

My son seems to have calmed down. I think he was worried I was about to drop dead on him!
Fingers crossed I'll be 'up and running' by christmas.# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Totally worthwhile a lot less stressed and feel like I can breathe
Be good for you to be off properly for a few days instead of keep pushing yourself.
I think it's in the old style forum but will look and post back when I find it.Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits

Got my son to sort through his piles... honestly he'd keep anything and everything. I keep smuggling stuff out.
I've managed one black bin liner of rubbish and have a pile of 'nice' stuff to donate.

3 more days of isolating
My son has 7 more... so half way now!
Am going to finsh the declutter and sort out of my room, bed room and keep working with my son on his room.
Honestly... I have no idea where the stuff comes from. I think I've been brutal but I know I keep looking at the same stuff and putting it back. Really just need to let go.
Money has gone well. Not allowed myself to go shopping on line which has saved me wasting a lot.# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60
