So been a rough day... whilst nothing amazing spend wise... i dud tge foid shop, pretty much on target there.
Whats really got too me today is...
Boiker repair estimate came in at 300 but my boiler isn't showing a fault code.. so booking for another quote.
My bank shows that yet again my previous utilities company has taken a dd payment. I also need to speak to them as thinking my last meter reading must be way off. They think i used 90 pounds work of electricity on the last day before leaving them. Although my acciunt is still in balance.
Wirk has been mental!
So just one of those days when you wonder about all the effort you put into trying to dig yourself out of debt a little bit just to get kicked in the teeth
Normally this would cause me to give up and just go shopping..
Not today as I'm trying to stay strong.
Fingers crossed for a cheap weekend# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

So my dad did some christmas shopping on my amazon account last night.
What he's really good at is giving me the cash to cover his shopping.
What I've akways been rubbish at is keeoing track of that cash. Usually I just out it in my purse and is disappears into the flitterverse. I'm tgen annoyed because my bank is short and I seem to have nothing to show for it!
So I went all MSE and went to the oost office and out it straight into the bank.
A small task of keeping track of 80 quid.... big step forward on keeping things on the right track!
Happy Saturday to you all

I've made overpayments!
So I've found my mortgage stuff...
When I tied in to my current fixed rate my payment dropped I opted to keep my payment the same which means every month since august 2018 I've ovetpaid £23.78.
Anyway... I've sent a bacs for £15 to see if that works and I'll try to keep doing this.
I've also found my solar panel loan, its balance is 3849.75 with 27 payments left. I've akso sent £15 to this to see if it gets accepted.
My caravan loan is like a car loan when they lump the interest on at the start... I know I took it over 6 years. I think I've made 17 payments so have 4 years and 7 months left.
I'm going to tackle the solar panel loan first and my paypal credit.
Am really pleased about the mortgage overpayments. I've over paid by 618.28 and just over 2 years into being fixed for 5... whoop whoop# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Awww huge thanks for the supportive post. Yes... it's 30 pounds of my money that I'll be keeping.
Also took action in contacting the electricity company to change my initual meter reading. So hopefully I'll get a good refund from the company I've left. Am due over 100 if they don't sort the miss read and over 200 if it gets sorted.
Have been enjoying the NSD november challenge. Hopefully I'll have a few spare pounds at the end of the month.

well, I managed to spend no money Saturday till thursday.
my son got an award for working hard at school... so that cost me a takeaway pizza, used a 50% off deal but still he's doing well so got to reward him.
Went food shopping and spent £30 so under budget.
Then I went to Mr S just for thr double up offer and got £60 of christmas pressies for free!
I used a voucher I had online and bought 3 more christmas pressies.
Just 2 more suprise present left to buy. They'll have to wait till next pay day.
Hoping for a no spend weekend.
