DCBLegal parking fine
Comments
-
The defendant was an overnight guest at Travelodge Hotel (location) on the date in question and followed all parking contract requirements by entering their full and correct vehicle registration mark (VRM) into a terminal at hotel reception upon arrival.
It is the parking operator's responsibility to ensure their automatic number plate recognition cameras and associated VRM keypads are operating correctly, not the defendant's. The defendant avers that the claimant's number plate monitoring system failed to correctly recognise and record their VRM.
The hotel chain has since agreed to cancel the parking charge, proof of which will be included should the case continue.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thank you very much Fruitcake for taking the time to write that. I presume I am still to include the entire suggested template defence in the newbies thread and only adjust section 3 with something like your suggestion? Thanks!

That is correct1

Thanks, I filed my defence yesterday by e-mail. The gov site still shows AOS as the last update. Do you know when I should expect to see it update approximately?

Did you get the eMail auto response ? If yes it's awaiting input into the mcol system , so sometime next week ?1
-
No I definitely did not get any automatic response. But it shows as sent successfully in my sent items. It went to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk

Did you attach the defence as a signed pdf ? If yes it may be in their spambox , it would do that if it's not a pdf or accepted doc file too
Check your spam box for the auto receipt , if it's not there , email the Defence again , attaching the PDF file , then look for the auto receipt coming back. It may not matter but ensure that you put all their address in lower case characters
If it all this fails , phone them up on monday1 -
Thanks I'll trying send it again, yes it was just a normal PDF attachment
