WM x 1, now on line, DW x 1. Kitchen looks MUCH better than it did. Need to get ready for paid stuff. Like ASB I'm off on Friday (I think we all are; I think they put in extra INSET at start of term).
Hope you all have a good day.

Valli.. its a flower.. cogs are boring!I have Dot an appointment to get her the referral for ASD assessment privately.. I got through to drs first go.. and the receptionist hung up on me.. but the 5th attempt I got to speak to someone.. she asked what it was for which instantly gets my back up.. then I thought maybe I'm being a bit of a twit, it's not lke it is a private medical issue.. and I was gracious enough to admit that to her.Anyway.. Today I also need to ring the mortgage company and speak to them about the house.
DW x 3
WM/TD/washing hokey cokey.
OH has 2 mirrors to put up and the back door to sort and some stuff to go in the loft.. not sure which to make him do first.. the door I think. I want him to see if I still have a white tree up there.. Though I REALLY want a pink one.. my rainbow one is looking a bit dishevelled after the kittens being in it constantly last year and has shed so much tinsel it is looking a bit bald.. 2 branches are completely wire now. Not sure how my white unicorn ornaments would fare on a white tree.. maybe thats a bad idea.. I do still have the very old green one.
2 ebeast items to post and I want to get 5 things listed.

Good afternoon!
Day one of isolation.....
DD2 has been watching !!!!!! tv and scrolling through her phone, DS has been playing on his PC/PS4 and DH has been playing guitar!
To be fair, DD2 had helped (a tiny bit) to clean out the fridge and DH has cut the grass. He is now dusting the bedroom, and DS is apparently sorting through clothes he doesn't wear. I will take them to the CS when I am allowed.
I have thoroughly cleaned and sorted the fridge, and consequently started another online shop as we don't have as much as I thought we had! The food bin has been emptied into Lottie the Hottie and washed. WM x1, dried and folded. I am just having a tea break, then I am going to spend a little time in the garden while the sun is out. I have some woodchip from the allotment to place around the compost bin so that it doesn't get muddy and/or weedy, and some weeding to do. I also have plants and bulbs to plant in pots, but I don't think I will get time for that. I will insist the dog come outside with me as he won't be going for a walk today.
I hope people are having a fairly stress free day at work....9 -
Back home after a horrid morning of admin and lesson preparing, but day 1 of 4 of the holiday course went well this afternoon. Only 3 boys, 1 has a decent level and is prepared to speak, the other 2 it's like pulling teeth. I thought 1 of them was going to cry. Theme is nice, ghost stories so just got to get them to try a bit harder with listening comprehension.
Pellet stoves cleaned and reloaded
Have found something we can have for dinner
Long, 5 day weekend booked for mid November.
At home tomorrow morning so will try harder to fly
No money spent

Woo-hoo.
I've been told I have to self isolate. Joy.
Oh well, at least it means I'm around for any deliveries this week, even if I am having to endure the feedback, the 'can you hear me's and the bzzzz bzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz of online 'meetings' for a full working day.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll8 -

Jojo welcome to the club!
I spent a bit of time in the garden chopping down dead stuff to compost and tidying the greenhouse a little.
Dinner has been scoffed, and I am going to play on the ring fit game with DS & DD2 to try and up my steps a bit! Shopping should be delivered a couple of hours and then I can go to bed! I have already started on the next order....10 -
Work done. Dinner cooked. WULTD. Kitchen floor swept. HHI done. Clean clothes sorted. My reward is going to be a slice of pretty decent looking carrot cake that DD made last night and a cuppa.
Various online orders to tweak / start / decide upon, but I think I will sort those tomorrow, as I have spent all day staring (and muttering!) at a computer screen.9 -
Have fun, those in isolation. I felt a lot better today than yesterday, so suspect anxiety/getting chilled on Saturday was responsible; it doesn't seem to have turned into anything.
Inundated with phone calls for Mr N just after he'd gone to the gym. Then my mum "thought you might still be in bed if you weren't better then I saw you were on FB so I could phone message you" er yes mum I was reading FB in bed.....didn't say that.
Did a load of washing up and recycling sorting.
Remembered at 11am that I hadn't booked next week's aqua; I'm now first on the waiting list.....however I'm in for tomorrow.
Decided fresh air would be good but running less so, so spent the morning in the greenhouse pulling up all tomato plants which were finished and trimming manky leaves off those which still had some tomatoes on; a good clear out.
Prepared paperwork for Wednesday's student. Downloaded another referral then saw admin had booked in 2 assessments for 12 Nov - no thanks. Sent it back. At least, lockdowns permitting, I've got a fair bit of work booked.
Continued writing report for last week's assessment. I'm gradually getting back into the swing of it; need to as next week I'm back on 2 per week and don't want to get behind. Having my brother lodging a couple of days each week is lovely but I tend to sit and talk to him, which takes up 2 of my writing-up nights. However, he's sent me a message today saying there is no work for him this week so there goes my excuse for a house blitz........
Went to drumming lesson.
Posted one letter and wrote birthday card for another friend to post on Wed.
Pulled a load of carrots, a couple of leeks and a bit of kale for a veggie stir-fry this eve. Stewed apples again, this time with some of the apricots I froze in summer.
Acknowledgement received about my refund from T£lkT£lk, good news.
Range engineer ominously uncommunicative........he's meant to be pricing the flue we need.
Filled bird feeders.
Pigpen thanks for edit/flower info!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

I've had my yearly appraisal thingy...rather pleased that how I am with the children, especially those who need support, was picked up. A very flattering and grateful email about how my care oif an asthmatic child was remembered and remarked on - parents had said they felt reassured their child was being cared for. I'll take that.
Been to beeandemm...NO sawdust or straw so i have to traipse again. they get their delivery tomorrow.
done nothing in the house and had a very retro tea - grilled spam and beans - yum yum yumDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
