I read the reviews on Amazon but often end up buying from eBay because it's cheaper.eBay's product reviews aren't as good.0

I go to Amazon first for nearly everything, have started getting any alcohol drinks from them too. We have Amazon Prime and delivery usually next day, as we stay in remote Highlands many other internet suppliers add on expensive delivery charges which you don't know until nearly check out, no problem with Amazon.0

I buy books and music from amazon, always, for everything else i do a general search first with reviews playing a large part in where i buy from.
Most of my online shopping is done from specific shops selling specific things though.
I will never buy clothes from amazon as i don't believe that what i want to be superior enough quality, definitely specific shops for that type of purchase.0 -
I avoid using Amazon wherever possible and only as a last resort. They are too dominant and are destroying smaller businesses.
There are plenty of other good companies out there that provide a superior service but don't have the financial muscle to promote themselves to the top of the search results listing.
Do some research and give them some business otherwise Amazon will take over completely.0 -
I always check prices but still try to avoid Amazon when I can get things for not too much more because I disapprove of their ethics.

Although I have prime the main reason Amazon originally got almost all my on-line spending was I acquired lots of Amazon vouchers from various online activities (£1k+/year), the fact Amazon seem to have the largest range of any website and are usually competitive on price and often cheapest at some point is a bonus.0

Yes, as I use the Amazon locker and they are brilliant, no deliveries to random neighbours.

i stopped shopping on amazon a year ago because they treat their employees badly. i now make an effort to buy from independent, sustainable companies - ones who use ethically sourced materials and treat their employees like humans.0

I search first but if I have to use Amazon then I do via the smile-Amazon link as I've chosen the British Legion as my charity to support and doing it via smile means the charity at least get a small donation.

The results show the value to Amazon of the Prime service and the dangers to consumers,The lure of free next day delivery sucks thousands into disregarding the normal common rules of researching the market for good prices0
