I really enjoyed Be Kind Rewind 8/10 for good laugh out loud fun. Spotted August Darnell as the West Coast video guy then had to watch the credits to make sure it was him. AKA Kid Creole of Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
I recognised him as well, but my hubby told me not to be such a saddo( i am too observant during films) just out of interest as you watched the credits did the end become clearer- I wondered if they showed the fixing of the building or anything? felt the end lacked a conclusion (if that makes sense)
Just as a little footnote- when I visit the various screenings in this area (essex) I always see a chap who wears glasses and has a tub of minstrels- he is always accompanied by a dark haired lady- I have spoke to him on one occassion 'Razzle Dazzle' and am aware that he looks on here I would love to know who he is- my DD always says "is that man here yet" It is like a comment that a film is going to be bearable if he is there.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

Saw 'Be Kind Rewind' last night, it wasn't great. I think I've been spoilt recently with some very good films, so this one was even more of a disappointment. It just wasn't that funny, and was really quite predictable. Anyone who missed out on tickets for this one really shouldn't be too upset. I can't even say it was a 'bad' film, it just wasn't very good.
Wolverine, please can you add my scores?
Be kind rewind 5/10
There will be blood 7/100 -
I saw Be Kind Rewind last night and was really disappointed by it. Quite a few people actually left during the showing. Expected it to be a lot funnier, especially with Jack Black in it. Also felt that it lacked an ending and their was no conclusion to the story.
Also saw The Bank Job which was great, well worth going to see if you can get tickets.
Be Kind Rewind 3/10
The Bank Job 10/10
Definitely Maybe 5/10
Juno 7/10
The Bucket List 7/10:dance: :dance::dance:0 -

I was there- not with the minstrels man- it was my first freebie film and I have to say the best part of it was getting to sit in the premium seats. The film was too slow for me and not funny enough- and maybe I'm not enough of a film buff to get all the references.
No, my usual haunt is Thurrock (odeon) last night, glad you had premium seats we had the cheap seats- been spoilt lately with some excellent cinemas and it is only when you go back to the odeon you realise how much it needs a re-fit. I did get the references etc, just didn't feel the ending was any good.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."
