On the SeeFilmFirst feedback survey for the "Did you find the film?" question, can anyone tell me what exactly the difference is between "Disappointed my expectations" and "Worse than anticipated"???

  • I really enjoyed Be Kind Rewind 8/10 for good laugh out loud fun. Spotted August Darnell as the West Coast video guy then had to watch the credits to make sure it was him. AKA Kid Creole of Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
Just looking to save a few pennies here and there
  • Just been to see Be Kind Rewind - I thought it was ok but nothing fantastic and not as funny as I thought it would be. I'd give it a 7/10.

  • wow! mixed reviews for BKR then - is it really funny or is it really not?
i have my doubts around the flimsy concept, but I have faith in Gondry
    Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

  • Be Kind Rewind.......A sweet and simple story that aims to be no bigger than it is. Loved it....lots of laughter too...x:T

:A Of course I couldn't think who the man was until now that you say it! Wasn't it sweet the ending? I thoought it a tribute to old times, welll the whole idea of the video shop, of the delerict building etc. I loved it.:T :A

One of the best concerts of the 80' Kid Creole and The Coconuts:T :A

Just got this email from See Film First regarding my screening of TOBG on 26 Feb at Odeon Greenwich:
Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control the date of The Other Boleyn Girl screening planned for Tuesday 26th February has now been changed to Monday 3rd of March. The time remains the same, 6:30pm. The ticket you hold is still valid, alternatively if you wish you can reprint the ticket with the new date from the reminder email that will be sent to you 24 hours before the screening.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you require further assistance please mail help@seefilmfirst.com
I don't know whether that is just for my cinema though.

I also got an e-mail saying my date for TOBG had changed to 3/3 too - I'm seeing it at Whiteleys :D
Went to see Bank Job and Be Kind Rewind this week - what a lucky bunny :D
Both films were good and completely different from each other. I have to say I enjoyed both of them equally: Bank Job was fast paced and exciting, BKW was funny and I thought moving at the end....a feel good story...
....and a last comment (will she ever shut up!!!!!!!!!) I ALWAYS attend if I win tickets....I know what you mean when the cinema is half empty and there are friends who have tried for tickets and not got them
Thanks to all of you that post these codes..... :A
:A Thank you to all who post xxx :A
