You will be number 24 and can put that in your signature. Thanks for joining!

I am so glad to see that I am not the only one who thought that Be Kind Rewind was a complete dud! To be honest, the moment Jack Black electrocuted himself which did NOT kill him but made him magnetic, I thought WHAT?
Anyway, I have a bit of begging to do. If anyone receives tickets for The Edge of Heaven next Thursday from Time Out and can't or doesn't want to go, PLEASE throw them my way! It would be very much appreciated. I can offer two tickets for The Other Boleyn Girl at Whiteleys for 3 March in exchange (but I am also just giving them away if anyone's interested). They still have the old date of 26 Feb on them but they are valid for the new date screening.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

OK now for my review on Be Kind Rewind, it looks like alot of mix reviews on this film, it seem you either love it or hate it, and im afraid am gonna have to go for hate it. Even though it did have some funny parts (mainly due to jack black, if anyone else played his part in the movie it would have been total pants) it wasn't enough to save the movie. I give the movie a 3/10, would of been a 1 but jack black get it up to a 3.Member No. 20 of the "104 free previews in 2008" club! Seen round about 21 so far0

IGNORE LAST MESSAGE, JUST SPOTTED !!0 -
We have no written statute.
You put your member number in your signature, and it would help if you did a running total of the number of films you have seen. A review with rating is appreciated but not essential. The club members just try to see as many free films as they can in one year, although it does not matter at all whether you reach the 104 goal or not (I doubt anyone will, to be honest). It's all just for fun!

I really enjoyed Be Kind Rewind - but I think it helps knowing what kind of films Michel Gondry makes (The Science of sleep, Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind) so you know what you're in for. I give it an 8/10.
Ah v. useful information for me as an Eternal Sunshine fan. Optimism restored! Thanks!
Perhaps it'd be more worrying if the majority liked the film - then I'd think 'Has Gondry lost it?'!!
Oh as for the critics, I've noticed, yeah its very divided on rotten tomatoes, but very positive on imdb (8.3/10 last time I looked) with a hellava lot more votes
In terms of trusted critics all I've got is a 4/5 from Total Film, and I'm pretty eager to find out what Empire gave it...
Until then thanks very much terf!
Oh and thanks to anyone for your votes, negative or positive.
I'm being way too biased for someone who hasn't seen the film, I know!Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

oh how annoying that they changed the date of TOBG! I have tix for the Bank Job on the 26th Feb and that was the only date they had at the time for TOBG so when I put the code in I thought I better leave it because I can't be in two places at the same time and I wanted to see the Bank Job. But now it looks like I could have done both.
Oh well, win some, lose some.0 -
You could always try all known codes for TOBG again, you never know!Reclaimed thanks to this site:
