you seem to have made a decision about selling up. i would not consider selling it to an investor - they always want to drop the price substantially !!!
  • That's what i wondered - if my flat is the best of the bunch it may make the package appear more attractive, but bulk buying would mean a discount, I would have thought.

a private investor is only interested in yield, and capital growth - you can work out the former for yourself, but, everyone is gambling on the latter.

Yes I know that not all "DSS types" are bad news, however, I am sure almost everyone would agree that when you have to work for something, you treat it better?

There is good and bad in all walks of life.

I have some DSS tenants and on the whole am happy with them (once the rent issues were sorted).

A friend of mine let a house out to a professional couple. Three months later the rent stopped, and 12 months later they were finally evicted. They gutted the house removing all furniture, carpets etc even the entire, and I do mean entire Kitchen! Their line of work? Both worked for the Police:eek: One of them was even a Segerant
