Afternoon
Well my oomph stayed with me, whole house now clean and tidy, one large bag filled for cs and put in the boot of my car, DH bossed to do a tip run after he did the garden so garage a little emptier too, DH also put some things into the attic for me, we don’t keep much up there as it’s v difficult to get in to... probably a blessing really!I had a late lunch of leftovers (mse) and chicken casserole is just in the oven for supper. No more jobs for me today, going to sit and read for a bit.Take care all x6 -
roundtuit said:So I'm not being moved because no-one wants to sit with me - I guess that's something.
mse tip - if you can dry clothes outside when the weather permits: as it's free once the initial cost of washing line and pegs is covered.
Glad you've found out why you got moved every time instead of someone else, Round. Sorry to hear that certain people can't be tolerant of others.
Did shopping chez MrAl before breakfast - 30% off stickered cod fillets [insert twirly Martin emoji]
Made apple crumble for family lunch tomorrow using NNDN's free apples [insert twirly Martin emoji], Twinks [insert twirly Martin emoji], fruit loaf and coffee cake at a fraction of the price in the baker's [insert twirly Martin emoji].
WUDUPA
Did the base icing on the family's medium-sized cake and 18 individual cupcakes for the christening "party"
A friend came round to bring me back a DVD which I am glad to have back, and to collect some books to keep for herself or pass on, saving her £££ and decluttering my shelves even more [fer-ling!]. We tested two of the Twinks - the samples were good, but that might have been just luck, so DH and I might have to test more each day this week in order to be convinced of the quality
Rosie has just had her walk, without us getting wet - bonus!
Now to finish the decoration on the cakes before using up the last of Monday's chicken in an MSE-style risotto [insert twirly Martin emoji]

I’m glad you got away, YL. I meant to ask if you were ok earlier in the week but my mushy brain forgot. I was in a similar sounding position to you a few years ago. Long story short, I jacked in the job as it wasn’t worth the effect on my mh. Yes we lost a humungous chunk of our income (I too was the major wage earner), but ultimately it was the best decision, especially when family life took an unexpected turn. I hope you can make it work out for the best for you and your sanity x
DH is cooking. This is an annual ritual that I have to endure. Just waiting for the call to bail him out. Like I haven’t prepped it all for him anyway. Oh did I mention that he is bbqing? In the rain, and on a new bbq, as we didn’t actually own one before. This obviously can’t go at all wrong 🤣9 -
Hello -ooo xx
Is there anybody there?
I'm up, made my bed, WM is on and I've finished my book whilst drinking my first brew.
I G00gled 'life admin', so I know what it is now. I've been pondering how best to record it so that there are no more late C Tax payments and I have a better idea of where I am with utilities. When DS and GF move out I'll be looking at my broadband and water as I think there could be savings made there; and I need to make a note to tell the C Tax people when they go so that I get my single adult discount. Now that is mse of me.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning
I’m here with you, Round!
Wm twirling as I have found a new home (friend’s gd) for a few of DD’s unwanted clothes, and need to freshen them up.Cuppa made. Now going to g00gle life admin. This sounds like something else I should do, although I am lazy (and lucky?) that our division of the household stuff probably means that most of it probably falls to DH. Still, I know that I should have a better grip on it.
Sunny day. I might take a walk to the allotment later to see how sad it looks.
Have a lovely day all x9 -
Happy Sunny Sunday everyone.
am out later to a NT place with friends. Need to clean out the bunnies first though. And peg out washing.

Morning all,
I'm up, went to the car boot at 6am and got lots of fab bargains, including full footie kits for DS to put away for Christmas for 50p. Porridge now, the WM is on with a load of clothes I bought (3 items for £1, all Next and river island, can't go wrong).Lamb in the SC already for dinner, and upstairs is clean and tidy, this is what happens when I go to bed at 9pm on a Saturday and don't have wine!YL I am very glad you got away and I hope it's given you some much needed headspace. Right cuppa time have lovely sunny Sundays all xx PS 9 work sleeps until half term for me xx10 -

Hi all
Fayolle thanks, I really cant afford to leave this job at the minute, but if everything goes to plan in 3.5 years we will be mortgage free and debt free, so the closer I can get to that the better, and I can definitely work on improving my life balance and the way work affects me in the meantime.
Have just emptied DSs laundry basket into the washing machine and now it looks like it is going to rain. And yes, I should really let DS do his own washing but the sun was shining earlier! I could really do to clean my windows too. Anyway, some work done on voluntary job, finances checked, need to do DHs month end but I will get him to help me with that in a minute.
Oh and its my nephew's birthday so we need to take his card but we are not calling in, one of his friends has tested positive for Covid, some family members are ignoring the fact that he is supposed to be isolating but I am not taking any chances.

I have a blinding headache again.. this is the third day .. it doesn't go with the usual drugs either so probably a niggly migraine which would explain the weird sensations in my face. I have an achey neck too, it has been very stiff and crunchy for months since having the neuralgia last year in fact.. I never did bother arranging the MRI.. horrid scary claustraphobic things.. Not sure I could manage to have one tbh.
I have sliced my thumb open getting into the new bag of cat biscuits, right to the bone! .. so that was nail glued and sticky plastered, with unicorns!! so hopefully will be ok.
Boog has a job interview for this week, I am just waiting to hear when and where.. but the warehouse is only 25 minutes walk from home and if these old offspring don't get a job soon I may commit murder.I need to wash Pixies coat again.. Nutkin and his widdler!!DW needs to go one 2-3 times
Uniforms and lunches need sorting.. apparently I need to find extra layers for Squeak because their classroom is freezing
I need to bring the tip stuff downstairs to fling tomorrow. I have a binbag for the CS shed too.
3 ebeasty parcels to sort out
trip to B&M planned too.. I need loo roll, pink paint, glitter, christmas stocking fillers.
