Kaz.. if they have a positive test it is 10 days from onset of symptoms says .gov.. though if still unwell home is the best place regardless. 14 days for those who have been in contact with the beplagued people just in case they they might get ill.. but not actualy contagious until they do have symptoms .. at present.. they in the ivory will probably decide you can pass it on before you're showing symptoms soon enough. I hope all affected have a swift recovery xx

She is usually very social and goes to all manner of groups but they are all closed. Evening. Not quite MIA, just shattered.
Today, apart from office-type work and taking Rosie for her usual walk, I have made 21 cup cakes and a sponge sandwich which I will decorate tomorrow for a socially distanced christening celebration on Sunday - i.e. everyone in their own homesMost cupcakes seem to retail for anything from £1.50 each, but these will definitely not cost me more than £1 each to make, so I am saving quite a bit of money and enjoying myself too.
Oh, and I also decluttered some stuff via Freecycle [fer-ling!]. Money saved by not having to hire a storage unit to keep it in.
Hope that keeps the MSE officials happy6 -
Absolutely po-fagged.
did a WM last night which was towels so got them in the TD early doors which means both machines ran on E7 rate (therefore money saving; post compliant). Got a second wash in too.
also ran DW.
Not enough to run DW tonight but WM reloaded and primed.
work is busy and stressful. And long underwear deployed as is cold due to open windows.
am in bed. Freshly made bed, too. Got a lot to do this weekend but we'll seeDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Adjusted my list on pg 1 to dispose of done items.. huge amount left which mostly won't be getting done..
Tomorrow OH has the new back door to fit.. he is at work from 5 so he best get it done quick! I am looking for a canopy style thing to go over the door to protect it further from the elements so hopefully we will have a bit more warmth and dryness in the kitchen.. the new door is not only thick and solid it is also double glazed so it is a far superior door I am just hoping it is A.. not too thick for the door recess once it has been planed to size and B. the locks are in the right places because they look a lot more secure.
I need to set up a second litter box in the back room because Hazel in her infinite dementia (I had forgotten how to spell that for a moment.. oh the irony!! lol) has taken to turding in a different corner.. This time it does however mean I have to bin a rug which needs binning which means the rug from the front room has to be moved in there which means I have to look at my bald carpet until I have £250 *spare* to buy a new carpet for the front room.. I had already decided I would get 2 rolls of very good underlay over the next few months and a cheap carpet when I have robbed the bank.
We found Naughty Norris unconscious earlier.. he had gone to sleep with his head hanging out of his spoon and reduced blood flow to his stupid head and it took us a few minutes to revive him.. He is an absolute moron without causing himself brain damage.
Monday I have to walk the girls to school.. Then we have a tip run and as punishment for having to walk to school OH is taking me to B&M after the tip (old door, vanity unit, dead bed, poopy rug and I am hoping to get a CS bag sorted to go too) .. it is across the road..I need some stocking fillery things.. its a great place for cheap smellies and slap and socks and bits.

Morning all,
We are one of the areas in the North that is likely to go back into tighter restrictions so we are going out for lunch today whilst we can. Heading into the big city near us as I have a few jobs to do at the bank that can only be done there. We will get the bus which is an adventure in itself for the children!I have a long list to get through this weekend, starting with renewing my TV licence when I've finished this post. It's pouring with rain so the washing will have to dry in front of the wood burner later.I hope everyone has a lovely weekend xx8 -
Morning xx
It's been an intense week at work - covering my own job plus half of someone else's so they could cover for someone on A/L plus counselling a very stressed colleague who was in tears two days running plus being told I'm moving again next week (but it's a temporary move!) It'll be my 4th move this year and I'm going back into the office that I started off in in January, but at a different desk. I'm moving to S's desk, S is moving to K's desk; K is moving to L's desk, and L is moving upstairs. This is the same L that I had to move for when she returned to work as she simply had to return to the same desk....obviously not. I have since found out that H flat out refused to sit in a room with L and that was why I was moved last time. I've also discovered that H flat out refused to sit in a room with MM last year - and that's why I ended up on my own with her. So I'm not being moved because no-one wants to sit with me - I guess that's something. I'd be fed up but I can't be bothered!
I've forgotten to take my meds twice this week - that is not a good sign. I've also been skipping meals and eating crisps and chocolate instead - again not a good sign, and obviously detrimental to my health, plus I'm packing on the pounds. So I asked for yesterday afternoon off as (for once) we were fully staffed and I was tired, tired, tired. Home is unsettled, work is unsettled, the world is unsettled and I needed to do a hoppity skip to get myself back in step. I came home, changed the towels in the bathroom, washed towels and tea towels, pegged them out, then had a read a book afternoon and ordered pizza in for tea - a final blow out / we've made it through another week celebration.
So far today I've got up! (That takes more doing than the words would imply). made my bed, brought the laundry down (it's overflowing again), supped my first brew and caught up with the thread. Please, please, please tell me where you are if you move - you are my friends and I don't want to lose you. The one thing that was constant and now I'm afraid of losing that too.
mse tip - if you can dry clothes outside when the weather permits: as it's free once the initial cost of washing line and pegs is covered. It's also green. And, personally, I love watching washing blow on the line - it's soothing. Win, win, win, (Anyone know how to suck eggs? And why grandma did?)
I'm going to have a second brew and some parrots - not branded, therefore cheaper to buy.
I was all ready to post my first Round, but I've mislaid my ooomph. So I'll send out hugs, and start with a oomph hunt,
Rxx

Morning all
Intense week here too so I’m with you round x
I managed an earlyish finish yesterday so rather than collapsing in a chair as I mostly wanted to I stripped the bedding including the mattress cover and put it on to wash, did another load which is mostly dry on the airer, scrubbed the en suite, got out the winter duvets and put on our bed and the spare room one (not that anyone will be staying anytime soon, lol) Plus hoovered and dusted the bedroom, looks good and also ticks off a couple of things from my weekend list!
Mse news, I shopped around for a renewal for pet insurance and managed to save £60 despite us needing to make a claim last year. Pleased with that.
Slow start so far here today though I’ve been awake for a while, first wm load is swishing, brew is made and that’s about it. 5 more mins catching up and then I must move!
back later, take care all x8
