The purpose of this site is to help people save money and so MoneySaving discussions need to stay on topic. If you want to post outside of this topic there are lots of other free open forums you can use to do this.
I am now worried about us.
We do help each other save money.. tips on cleaning products, utility supplier switching and how much have we all saved on cleaners?
they can't say anything about us with some of the filth that is posted elsewhere on this site.. have you ever ventured to other boards! They are hideous.
I save a fortune being here.. without you lot I swear I would have turned to drink or drugs at some point.. you saved me all that money! Now I just bake Twinks and get fat!
it also says 'money saving discussions need to stay on topic' .. we are not primarily a money saving discussion.

Evening ladies
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day, with a slight hangover today! I'm so tired now so this will be brief but wanted to send love to Dizzy, Natty and anyone else who needs it.You've all saved my sanity, if they got rid of us I'd be devastated (I doubt they will) xx10 -

Evening all. Thank you for the good wishes. I spoke briefly with Mum today just to say I wasn't not caring, I'm giving her time and space to process what's going on and asked her to ring me when she can. She hopes to call late tomorrow morning so I'll find out more then.
I've had a pretty gutty day. Two very noisy, poorly trained dogs arriving today who were booked in for tomorrow (incorrectly) by their owner and another two last minute emergency covers, plus trying to juggle feeding chickens and goats, seeing in the chimney sweeps who gave me the news that our central chimney is leaky and the bedroom above where the other open fire in that chimney is situated would get smoked out if we lit a fire downstairs. Listed building chimney work estimated in the region of £1300-1500 per flue to seal holes and make safe for use. We have 6 chimneys... Oh and the Jackdaws have built another nest in Tiny's chimney. Cried a bit when DH came home...
Had a bubble bath and cleaned the taps while I was in it...sum total of my flying today x9 -

I am now worried about us.
It makes it very hard to keep people motivated and to keep posting when it is so strict now.
I use stardrops original and have discovered stardrops pink - I love it, I used to buy stardrops from S*insburys for 35p until they cottoned on how cheap it was and increased the price.
I actually came here looking for some information as I knew the msers here would know, but am thinking I will get the dreaded banner under my post.
I use dishwasher tablets to clean my toilets, saw it recommended somewhere, as well as bleach most days. However, I have hardwater stains in the toilet bowl I cannot remove. I have tried different types of bleaches and none are shifting it. Does anyone have any moneysaving guaranteed to work methods please.9 -

Bluddy cheek just had my house insurance renewal come in, it had gone up by £40, so just rung them and 'had a discussion' got a load of waffle about a woman living up my road and her costs, I'm not interested in her, just my house and contents, anyway it is back down to just below last year, so happy with that for now, but off to check and compare.Kitchen is sortedI have a tub of pink solid type star drops, I used it with a sponge type cloth seems to be great.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Click and collect, collected from Dunelm for Meem.
5 more days until I can change utility supplier.
MIL just messaged asking how things are and I offloaded my life on her.. she may regret asking lol.

Work done. Didn’t manage to finish the job I was doing, so what are the chances of remembering where I was at when I get back in a week‘s time.

Evening all,
Work done, I then quickly visited M&S to pick up some online orders and some F&V, nipped to Wilkos for some essentials then picked the kids up and did after school sports club and swimming lessons. They were therefore late having tea and very late to bed! DD did a load of extra homework as well bless her.The woodburner is lit to warm downstairs through and dry the huge airer full of laundry that is in front of it. Pack ups are made, my bag is ready for morning and weekend plan is set. I wrote a huge 'life admin' to do list last night, which I must must start to tackle.Sleep well all xx8 -
Yesterday was a long day, too long, but no money spent (mse content!)
Just one lesson this morning then back home to get ready for weekend away at other house with both DDs and friends and some their kids (all adults now). Friends moved away but their son stayed here to finish his studies so he is coming with us to meet up with them so going to be a fun weekend.
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
DW unloaded (thank you OH)
HHI
SMILE, it's Friday
