One shouldn't need to please a planning officer, any more than a teacher or a bus driver. Unfortunately, we've had first-hand experience of how their whims and prejudices come into play, but I won't bore you with that here. Through gritted teeth, we'll, forget ignore the past and see what happens this time. 😬

The dahlia picture was an easy one. It was in the polytunnel, with no wind, and the dahlia was just at the right stage of maturity. Farway's Echinacea is far more interesting, as it's not the usual sort. I like it, but coneflowers do as well here as erigwotsits do at his place! 😄

A dull afternoon, with rain predicted, and threatening. When I saw reality was better than the drunkards' seaweed suggested, I nipped out to cut the rest of the grass at the back. Just the front to do now. ☺️
