Farway Bluey and I have been suggesting Duckduck for a while now 🙂
The video sans the continuous ads is a plus.
Wet, roses blown to smithereens, only one cherry left, wet and grey. Did I say I managed to pick 4 🍓 with a grabber? And pick them up. Overdone it now so it's rest today.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
viral kindness .....kindness is contageous pass it on

Oh, great minds, and picking strawberries. Have a rest, catch up on GW & BG?
PS, Duck intercepted 62 trackers & a cookie pop-up on MSE forums during my last visit 😁

I've just installed Duck, so let's give it's picture posting abilities a go..
Oh dear! 😮 Quick, let's find something less…err…controversial in yesterday's garden. How about an unusual-looking peony? 🤔
I love these, but prefer viewing them in others' gardens. We only have 'Molly the Witch,' and she's so early we often miss her.
Thanks for the tip, Farway. I might stick with Canard x2, especially if he can fit in a grammer and spalchicker. 😇

Go steady. 😉 It's still horrible out there, so I've given myself the day off.😋
Mrs Dusty has even resorted to ironing! 🤣
Incidentally, friend and I went on to Rosemoor yesterday, specifically to see the Rose Garden. I think it may have suffered somewhat today! Pictures later.

We are at a local charity beer festival, thank god for gazebos! Managed to get all 4 kids and partners together:)

You are doing well Middlewife! Is beer and new hip a good combination? Reminds me to get some stout in.
I'm looking forward to it.
Dusty that was cruel posting that photo of daisies. Lovely garden though.
Been a bit lazy today . More visitors. I do have a weird foxglove though. Couldn't get near enough but will try again tomorrow. It's a good 2 inches wide flower. Very odd looking.
Hmmmm what happened to sizing the photo? I liked that.

And the long line of WCs, no doubt! 😄

Is it something like this?
Don't think I've seen it in the flesh, despite having quite a lot of Digitalis. 😗

2p, we used to prescribe stout to nursing mothers and had brandy on prescription for "shock", until it was noticed that lots went missing when a certain night sister was on duty!
Dusty, the queue was almost non existent as lots of people swapped their tickets to Friday. I'm still using disabled where poss, low seating is still an issue unfortunately, I'm a west country girl, so it has to be cider tried some very nice Mr Whiteheads "devils device" 8.5 % to wash down curry from the local Indian restaurant, yum.
Picked in some semi ripe strawberries before the woodlice get to them, they can ripen on the windowsill.
My courgettes have finally flowered although not many bees around, so might have to resort to a paintbrush.....

Lucky the gazebos didn't blow away middlewife…
We don't seem to have had it as bad as some of you today - just a bit damp, not bad planting-out weather for Tagetes, Nasturtiums, Cosmos, etc, that have lingered too long in their modules (planting out malingering veg has taken precedence since the searing heat disappeared)… Would quite like the sun back now though, as grass and "weeds" are getting out of hand; after the dry spring and last year's conditions had almost forgotten what the old normal was like…😕
On autumn rasps, they will produce fruit in summer if stems not all cut down at the appropriate time (just gargle, canard or ask your fav AI pal about double-cropping rasps)…
And on peloric foxgloves, I think I posted a pic of one on here a few years ago, acquired from seed sent by a pal in London, and which reappears every now and then in the garden (spotted one t'other day actually, but not a good enough specimen for a photo), but 2Ps doesn't look like any of the ones I've had here…

Morning all, Silver Jubilee etc and yaaay 2p's back 😃👏
How you getting on? Bit of peace and quiet now your friends have gone..? I can't help with your steroidal foxglove (shocker) but don't be messing with your strawberries now you've had a taste, let your blackies have them *wagging finger *
Farway daddy was out there for the liveliness, but he only ever told the two stories. Standing in the blazing sun for The Queen, and one about the umm troop entertaining fellah, and exactly what sort of
young boysentertainment he demanded be brought nightly to his tent. He was a proper nasty diva apparently 🤐 Anyway. I'm only at the Ooh I've Got My First Tom Flower stage too, is it all a bit slow this year with the Spring being off kilter? Hurrah for courgettes getting it on 🚬😄Dusty I hope you get on alright with D'Duck, I've been running it for ages and I'd not use anything else now. But ye can pish aff with yer argenon daisies 😝 The WEF is shutting the place in 2030? Jeez that doesn't give us long. Mind I'll get more time in me garden, much needed it is too, there sure is a difference in the place between a couple of years ago and now. Poxy work taking all my time. Grrr.
Wort I think we've had enough rain, in bursts, but not like I'm guessing yous have had over that side. Cissie's at risk of growing flippers she says so you must not be far off that 🐟 Not desperate windy or cold with it but, so there's that.
If you're still at the festival I hope you get some better weather mw, your pic looks very Autumnal 😏 Ooh I'm deffo with you on the cider over beer thing 🎶 I loik drinkin coider for it makes moi belly woider, and when I farts I knows I's well 🎶
Less that's good rasp info, I'll have to look up some details. My rasps were a few stalks not that long ago but they're now a huge bush of a thing so I reckon I need to intervene. Bluddy thing, I didn't even plant it, it just moved itself in and got going!
OT it's been another perfect morning here. Gentle sunshine and lovely soft air, bit of breeze and puffy clouds. Anyone looked at the long range forecast - week after next we've desperate heat coming again, they say 😢
