Farway, your mention of Morries reminded me, I managed to keep a trio of their pelargoniums going through winter. Here's one, blooming its socks off:
Ah, uploading photos is still not working.😕
I get the messages 'Bad Gateway.' or 'Network error.'😔

Morning all. I forgot about the coronation, which I shouldn’t have really cos I bluddy heard enough about it growing up. Daddy was in Egypt stood in the blazing sun for it and any chance he got he’d tell us about it. God love him.
Hopefully you’ve had a bearable night 2p and they’ve a least given you a carrier bag full of the good drugs. With a bit of luck you’ll be back in your own bed soon 😀
Your These Are The Rules convo with cat made me chuckle gb. Not a bit wonder they don’t listen but kudos for trying 😄
Your cat’s neater than His Holeyness wort, I had to lift them feathers meself! I don’t know what happened it but it wasn’t eaten I don’t think, well the fox prolly got it. That damned cat was still demanding his supper so… 🙄
Farway I’ve checked my fig tree and it’s not being skeletonised *phew * but it’s not outside, it’s sat looking out of my conservatory (and maybe I’m too far norf 🤞🏻) Is there a cure for it then? Can you just cut the bad bits off..? Lezbean courgette flowers opened up when the blokes s0dded off - sounds about right 😆Dusty will you get your fire lit today? I hope your neighbours appreciate it, there’s nothing like the smell of a proper fire. And you’re sans sheeps..? Try saying that 10 times fast 😆
OT well it’s a lovely Autumn morning here. The air is soft and quite dry, humidity dropping, the sun is out but there’s various fluffy clouds scuttling past. Heaven ☺️ That wind’s to get up later and a drop of rain around lunchtime but that’s a fair swop guv’nor. Jeez we got some rain yesterday, the running-down-the-road and filling the drains type. But only a couple of clatters of distant thunder, so I’m not counting it as a storm. Must Try Harder.

OT the clouds are a little thicker and that breeze is getting up.4 -
More of the same today , wind and rain feels like 10 degrees. Got back from dentist unscathed yesterday, back into town today for another appointment, then this afternoon going to dsis 80th birthday tea. Shame it will have to be indoors.
Dgson brought me a bag of compost and I’ve potted up into large buckets the Tom plants. YBE you seem to be avoiding the rain on your side if my weather forcast is to be believed. My SIL told me they had what sounded like a cat the other night, and when they got up there were feathers everywhere and blood splatters down the car . Was it a full moon 🌕

I'm still getting the 'Bad Gateway' message when I try to upload a photo, so I'll carry on in text only for now. Often, these things resolve themselves. Others are not experiencing the same problem, or surely it would be reflected in the Feedback section by now. 😪
Like the Orange Baby, I'm not having the best of times on home turf just now. Early success with the tomatoes has been followed with some upsets, possibly compost related, which have almost wiped-out my Sungolds. After potting-on, a few developed bleached top growth and failed to thrive. Then, the remainder began to show extra thin top growth. Anyway, having given a few OK ones away, I'm apparently left with only one plant, and that has the weird top growth. Lower down, the first truss looks normal.
I'd show you, but……😖
Fortunately, the other toms we're growing seem fine, as do most of the plants in there, but I notice stunting on the second lot of courgettes and cues, with more complex foliage than normal. This is also present on just one ground cherry, the others romping away and leaving it looking strange. There definitely something 'off,' and now nearby fields have converted from arable to sheep, it's not local spray drift on the wind. My guess is traces of clopyralid weedkiller in one batch of compost, or even just part of a batch. This would be possible if, say, horse manure was involved in any part of the production.
In weather news, it was hammering-down when I let the hens out at 07.00, and more's forecast before we go brighter in the afternoon. I certainly won't be getting the tree waste bonfire lit any time soon, Bluey. The wind's right, but there's been far too much of it, and plants are getting blown-down. 😯
Speaking of clopyralid weedkiller, now the sheeps have departed, I'll be able to bash the thistles. It's a job I hate, but the alternative of leaving them is too horrible to contemplate….unless you're a goldfinch! 😄

More rain this morning, mixed blessing, it was certainly need here, and I can almost hear the berries plumping up. On the downside all the foxgloves are battered & looking very sad, but they were nearly over anyway, so get the seeds around for next year.
Hope the compost is goods stuff Wort, and your toms crack on in it.
The more I see the more I think the world's gone mad. No doubt history will see it all differently,
Daddy was in Egypt stood in the blazing sun for it and any chance he got he’d tell us about it. God love him. Hope he was back home by the time of Suez.
Dusty Farway, your mention of Morries reminded me, I managed to keep a trio of their pelargoniums going through winter. Here's one, blooming its socks off: Well done on that, I managed to keep one going, outside and spared the vine weevils. Not flowering yet but has buds forming. I find the Morries plants reasonably robust, and for the price good value, if you get a live one that is
No gardening with the rain, but if there's a break I think I spy a bloke courgette, if so I feel an introduction a lady friend may be on the cards, possibly a shotgun marriage 😲
Trying photo upload, first self seeded nasturtium flower this year, the dynasty continues
PS Dusty, I'm on desktop, Windows PC, using Firefox, seems to be working for me

Snap! 😀 None of this 'do yer eyes in' phone nonsense here. I've tried logging-out and in again, so I suppose the next thing is swap browsers……Nah, I'll go shopping! 😛
Thanks for the info, though. That helped. 😇 I had an AVG update, which could be another line of enquiry. No Firefox or Microsoft changes recently, well, so far as I know.

History may not repeat, but it rhymes. A good comparison might be the Fall of Rome. But anyway, it's all been predicted for 2030 by our pals at the WEF. They seem to have remarkable prescience.😉

Just dropping in to say hi 😀
Op Monday, out of hospital Tuesday to collect aids and home. Friend stayed 2 nights. Never stopped chattering even when she had the telly on on her own which made me smile. Another friend called and one coming today later.
So much noise for 4 days and no rest I'm shell shocked, tired. Haven't been outside yet but it's raining so the plants are watered just battered by the wind.
I'll pop in again when I've caught up on sleep and the adrenaline has waned.
Yes Bluey, I've got some of the good stuff 😉
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Make sure you do all your exercises and the resting you've been told to do 2p. And don't try to do too much too soon!

Good to see you're active here again 2p. 😀 Don't forget, the anaesthetic will make you tired, not just noisy, well-meaning friends! 🙄 At least you're not missing much weatherwise, though it seems to have cheered-up a lot since this morning's foray into civilisation.
Aha! 😊 I've cleared out my 'puter's broom cupboard, and it seems the picture posting glitch has gone in the bin with all the junk. So, here's the slightly glutinous but highly nutritious Purslane we're adding to salads. Very easy to grow, but not fully hardy
