2p hope all went well, and you are feeling ok.

Only a couple of feathers left of pigeon now. At least there was no waste. Greenbee that’s why I don’t have a cat flap.😹

Farway must remember to ask dsis how her figs are doing.
Forcast is rain and storms for next 2 days hoping they’re wrong as I have appointments in town both days . Starting with dentist check up today. I wish I’d washed yesterday as the rain didn’t arrive as forcast then.

Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.

I missed your feather trail post yesterday, Bluey. We get piles of feathers here rather than a spread-out trail, but I've no idea what the predator would be. 🙃 A pigeon would be too large for a sparrowhawk, and buzzards usually go for smaller four legged prey.

I just about remember the Coronation in '53, Farway. A great number of adults were stuffed into Mrs Currie's living room, watching a snowy 20cm screen. Sheila and I got bored after a while and went off to do whatever 4-year-olds get up to when adults forget they exist. As for Marilyn Monroe getting to 100, Bluey. No chance. She knew far too much.😉

Well, yesterday was blustery and showery, with some good downpours. The stream even began trickling. When things calmed down towards evening, the sheep were finally rounded-up and taken away for shearing. They won't be returning. Now, the grass will need to be topped, as it's too seedy for growing on as hay. After that, who knows, but I have a promise the fences will be repaired. I've plenty of posts, ready to bang-in if the ground doesn't dry-out too much.

The site isn't allowing pictures just now, so I'll pop back later, maybe. Lots of far-right activities* to get on with after the rain stops…..

*Putting-up posters for v. traditional garden club! 😛

Bit later today, eye test, then a visit to the plant cemetery in Morries. Eyes are OK, at least still allowed to drive which is the main thing at my age, given everyone seems to blame older drivers for everything and any excuse to remove older licences.

Thunder & terrible hard storms yesterday, solid wall of water it seemed. And it's still raining after a breather earlier. Maybe it will water the dying ones in Morries. it was blowing gales & cold wet wind, poor things out there after a nice childhood in a greenhouse. Nothing to tempt me today.

Hope all went well 2P and you are soon home again

With the weather, no gardening, but I have a GW to catch up on

Bluey Lezbeen curse has worked on my courgettes, one lady opened up this morning, all the blokes are hiding now the rain has arrived. So, one solitary lady and no fellas. She is left dancing round her handbag.
