If I separate the smaller bulb and plant do you reckon it would grow into anything or just bolt?Do you know the origin of the onions? I know with cheap supermarket garlic it's best to just keep it potted, in case it's carrying eelworm or some other nasty. If you pot it, you could cut the tops for salads, stir fry, etc.
I'm probably going to sow more salad leaves, and anything that should have gone in the cold frame by now to be frosted. I'm holding off with the chillies until the middle of February......but it's hard!!Farway said:Talk of seed sowing, now thinking about mustard, after the talk of watercress, Hmmm, scratches head and starts daydreaming

My last one was on a clearance offer for a tenner ! those days long gone so I gave upDusty, beware of modern printers, many now come with inbuilt failure mode after xx number of sheets.Super brainy computer software nerd DGS, studying clever stuff, at Bristol, is unable to crack his HP printer. Probably teaching granny about eggs, but check internet first.Unless colour is a must, a laser may be a better option. If you dare, the clever Techs on Tech forum may know what is toxic or notOnly slight gardening is look up mustard seeds, but that is a daydream so farHere's what Rosa Car Parkii should look like if it keeps going
