Dispute with neighbour - they want to attach their garage extension to our detached garage??

    im sorry you're going through this, same happened to my parents, the first time we halted the plans, the council told us they cant attach their property to ours... they took advantage of us going on holiday and built it quickly... we took it to court and paid 3k or more, and just before the ruling they took it down, our legal advisor said you might as well accept it, and drop the case, or you'll incure more expenses.

    some neighbours are from hell. but take it to court better than get violent and bring it down ur self

    Any news, OP?  If it does end up involving a big, strong man wielding a 24lb hammer, I hope you have the presence of mind to video it.  A link to would be appreciated, LOL.

    Seriously, I hope you manage to resolve this with minimum inconvenience but just do not understand how anyone can think it acceptable to do what your neighbours have done.  Do they not have laws where they are from?
