Sovereign Lawn Mowers and Strimmers

Check your bank statements if you paid by card, which is highly likely this year. If you can show the price and Homebase as the vendor that should cover it. You need to provide proof of purchase - not necessarily a receipt "With faulty goods, you simply need to prove purchase. This could be the receipt, but any other legitimate record – such as a bank statement – should be fine."

my original email to homebase was i bought a lawn mower couple years ago which lasted about a year....then 3 or 4 months ago i bought a strimmer which lasted 3 or 4 months.. I said ..do i just chuck them in the bin or what.. ? .. Theyve replied today asking me which branch of homebase did i buy the products from..No mention of ..did i have receipts..just which homebase did i buy them from so they can investigate...Their system might be able to tell them the names of all the customers that bought both sovereign products..but im guessing... Ive sent them the links to both sovereign products0

well i didnt write it down on a piece of paper and hand it to them ..no... but you would think businesses would keep customers records to keep track of any bad payers etc0

hi ive had this. from the store i bought the products from.....but are they saying that the sovereign products are no worse than other sovereign products they sell ??
Good Morning ,
I have received your complaint from our customer services team regarding the sovereign products you have bought from us. I have forwarded the feedback to the buyer so that they are aware of the problems you have had and to see if they have had any other feedback regarding these products.
The only thing I can guage products by is the rate that we get them returned and after reviewing the past years data, they seem to have a similar faulty return rate as the rest of the range that we sell.
I apologise that you do not feel that the Sovereign range isn't up to scratch and I would hate to think that we are upsetting customers, so I'll make sure to follow this up with the buyer.0 -

Even if you paid by debit card and they have your bank account details did you give them again in your email so they can match your name to the purchase?
Remember your dealing with Homebase not Derren Brown.0 -
i paid with debit card...but read my comment before this one where ive posted homebases reply...to me it reads like the sovereign products i bought are just as bad as the sovereign products that other customers have brought back for a refund...so iv said to homebase..why are you selling sub standard products that customers keep returning asking for refunds ....ive asked homebase to explain their reply as it doesnt give homebase a good reputation if they are selling products that are not fit for purpose0
