Washing brought in as was dry.
Kitchen cleaned, bathroom cleaned. Mopping water was vile. Note to self - that floor tile colour choice was EXCELLENT lol
Been to town; bought engagement card for friends daughter and her girlfriend and birthday card for colleague. Snaffled some YS salad stuff in Mr T. Took bras that didn't fit back to Matal@n. Bought bigger size *blush*. Been to Savers and remembered I needed DW tablets BOOM go me!
I had see them in Lidl (same brand/size) but I had a feeling they were cheaper in Savers. I love Savers.
Banked some of my birthday money.
Got veggies roasting in oven but not sure what I'm having with them, yet.

Morning all,
Thank heavens it's friday, what a week! All the bills went out yesterday so I know exactly where I am. No spending needed this weekend thankfully.
Wow Piggers I am in awe of your sales. I have made a small start on Christmas, have bought both children a Lego advent calendar. Very pricey but they adore them and the Harry Potter one has mini figures in, which we will display.A lazy weekend planned ahead of me getting one year older (and wiser?!) next week.Off to devour a cuppa now have lovely days all xx7 -
Aargh lost a post...can’t be doing with retyping it...the gist of it goes:
I’m tired
washing in wm
a lazy weekend sounds right up my street.
I don’t know why it took me so long to write the first time round..
Have a lovely day all x

It's Friday! We will just ignore yesterday, it's done.
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
Kitchen tidied into DW
It's a foul, we & windy day here so no excuses not to stay at home and get on with stuff.
Bins currently out and they're FULL, stuff is leaving the house slowly.

Morning all.
Yesterday I managed to pick up my specs and buy daffodil and hyacinth bulbs and a pair of pyjamas (in different shops, of course!); also went to the fabric shop in the next town, looking for material to cover the footstool, and found a sample curtain on the remnants table for just £1.50However, I forgot to buy webbing and wadding at the same time
so will have to order some online today - it will cost me about the same for postage as for petrol to get to a proper haberdashery store.
This morning I have sent feedback to 5pec5aver5 with detailed comments on the poor level of Covid security, particularly distancing, in our local store.
I am now trying to get a telephone appointment with a GP to discuss pain relief for my shoulder: was 63rd in the queue, and it's now reduced to 40th. Could be a long wait...
It is a foul, wet and windy day here too, so I am not planning on going out or doing gardening. I will do the necessary dailies, go food shopping, then hopefully get some sewing done. While I'm sitting here listening to the boring phone messages, I will sort a pile of papers.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx
ETA: it took me well over an hour to get through to triage, but the "highly trained navigator" did a good job, promised me a phonecall from one of the GPs this morning, and one of the nicest of the doctors rang me back within an hour and was very helpful. I have to go and pick up a prescription from our local pharmacy later, and must ring the surgery again if my migraines recur.8
