At least OP now has an answer and solution. And information on this thread will benefit others.
Perhaps the OP would consider changing the initial post / title to reflect the fact that it was not Green Energy "a joke" As Op is with Green Network Energy. Different companies. And now it appears the GNE were not in the wrong either?
OVO"Smart electricity meters on a standard tariff
- Press 9 on the keypad.
- Your smart meter screen will show a series of letters: IMP KWH.
- You’ll see 8 digits (e.g. 0001234.5) followed by kWh at the bottom right of the screen.
- This figure is your latest reading – if you’re giving a reading to your energy provider, they only need the first 7 digits."

I would add that for those who have found this thread with a search engine, only electricity kWh readings should be submitted to your provider.. Gas kWh readings should NOT be submitted to your provider. Only cubic (ft3 or m3) readings should be taken and submitted. This is simply because the reading conversion of gas from cubic to kWh uses a variable calorific value that varies throughout the year.Further information can be found below:https://www.gov.uk/guidance/gas-meter-readings-and-bill-calculation (Gas meter readings and bill calculation - GOV.UK)

Not a funny joke, I'm afraid.
I, too, switched to GNE recently (via MSE Energy club) and I'm shocked by how terrible their website is. I can't submit readings at all, I can't access info about my usage or balance, and now they appear to have locked me out of their system completely (not deliberately, I'm sure, just sheer incompetence). Recent Trust Pilot reviews (which I now wish I'd read beforehand - although there are also suspiciously numerous glowing reviews) tell the same story.0 -
@dhampton23 Don't take it personally - looks like a software glitch - I get an error messageNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Trying to submit meter reading and website is basically SNAFUed! No balance, usage, can't submit readings.

Can you confirm this is about Green Network Energy and not Green.Energy. As a former Tonik customer I am thinking of Green.Energy as an alternative to Scottish Power0

Yes Green Network Energy.
They seem to be making progress in sorting this - now I can log in (just can't do anything)Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1 -
All seems to now be sorted - and also I can give a meter reading day (I had been blocked because their IT didn't like my use of Edge)Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
