So busy with work, so glad I batch cooked onn Sunday. Makes life so much easier to heat up tasty nutritious food, that is ready to go. Definate meal plan for 2 tomorrow.
Still waiitng to hear about the financial offer on the job offer. The new Ikea desk is making my work life much better. I have been here for nearly 12 hours today.
Nit much else to report, just quiet focussed frugality. The wine os still a bit of a problem though.3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

Bought a bottle of wine yesterday, so the roll stopped for one day. Back on it today.
Did a bit of ready reckoning on my self-employment earnings for the month. I think I could pay off another 5% of the bebt...but I might have to forego 1% for that day in December.

Well done. Any spending plans for the weekend?I’m hoping to not fritter anything for the rest of the month (after foolishly wasting £50 yesterday 😪)Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

The weekend was mainly train tickets to see partner - now I am not alone anymore again. Then it was also less than a tenner for the spends. So not bad going. Can't claim anymire NSD's thoguh.
Getting excicted about the end of the month and working iut how much I can pay off the debt.
Been at university online today. I would rather be there in person, but at least I am savinf in trainfares, hotel and meals out 0 even though I would have put it through my self-employed books, its still money gone.3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

I like Dave Ramsey (he likes to rant) and debtkickinmom ...they are both American and a bit goddy, but talk a lot of sense 😊 There are many more out there, but a good place to start. We’ve all done the falling out, getting back together thing...as long as it makes you happy it’s all good!

@Suzanne54321B I am going to check those guys out, thank you. Need thinhs to keep me on the straight and narrow.
So yesterday awas a NSD, that is 11 I am super pround of myself. I woulds always be nipping out for something. I do need to nip out today though.
Also and perhaps even better news. I didn't have a drink last night. I ewoiuld say that is the first time since the second week of September. I recived some very diffiuclt to hear news, it is still there but it is settling a bit and it did cost me £3,500 to help it to settle, jsut so I am not in it on my own and my lawyer can deal with much of it and guide me. Its going to be a long hall thoguh so need to find someway of being wiht it without pouring a galss of wine when I finish work.
I need to redo my budget, the last one was all firm and stoic and perhaos even biligerent after my partner and I had a bust up. So now that, that is smoothed over my budget isn't really realistic. She lives in London, and I in Brighton, so train fares and a few treats. But she is also trying to sort out her financial situation. So hopefully we can work togther rather than against....good test!
I am going to see her later. 🥰
