All the food sounds amazing!
I’m counting myself lucky that work clothes aren’t really a thing for me. I mean, I’m sure they’re supposed to be but I’ve rocked up in jeans and t-shirts for so long now that I think people would be quite nervous if I showed up in something fancier 😁
I’m with you on the winter chub though...been focussing on mine since Thursday...stopping myself impulse shopping and getting takeouts gives me a two for one bonus 😊. Your GP should have a public weighing machine and the bigger Boots often have them too.We have until June to save as much as possible and lose those extra pounds - we got this!Short termLong term

...2 days until the first CC statement, to look at the new plan and progress.
My phone is defo playing up and I can't find my old one! But I have got £10 off ismash, if I can find the bloomin phone.
Weighed myself at B00ts thanks @Thelaughingcat. It was quite a shock. Really going to work hard on that too! Feeling lumpy and tired.
But that set me back a £ do not a NSD yesterday.

Oh no! That’s terrible news on the phone. I’m holding on to that little nugget for iSmash...I’ve never tried to game their system before. And yes - that first weigh in is hard but it’s always better to know where you’re starting from. After today, I’m dreading tomorrow’s weigh in!On the weighing - if it’s going to cost you £1 every time, you’d be better off buying some scales. Argos have this digital one reduced down to £6.79: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8326975?I know we’re all trying to spend less but it’s much better to get a cheap set for home than waste money on a public one, I reckon.Short termLong term

I’m on mine daily, but weekends are best as you always weigh a little less if you sleep in! I have it linked to a health mate ap...but its always at least a stone out (whistles innocently)...Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Haha, @DrCarrie - we really are quite similar! Mine is behind a box, under a dresser, which is enough to force me to leave it alone most of the time. I do check once a day and log but only pay attention to trends, not weight.I know what you mean though, it’s hard for it not to become a focus when you have one at home. You have to do what is right for you on this ☺️Short termLong term

@booksandcoffee Thanks for stopping by...and for reading. Welcome.
Checked my online CC1 for the statement, not there but it is due today.
NSD yesterday thankfully.
Got my lovely veg box coming today, very little left in the fridge. The focus is defo on eating masses of veg to fill me up. This really used to be how I ate, but new DGF (not so new now) loves junk food and lockdown has got me back in some not so good health habits. We love a drink too.
I don't really know why I am concerned about obsessing about getting on the scales...I am obsessing about myfitnesspal anyway! But really don't want to be weighing daily!
I must say though, I think I a feeling a bit more energised already, much less sluggish, seem to be sleeping better. Absolutely making myself go out everyday, even if it just for a 1-mile lap of the park. Getting back in training for life out of lockdown.
There was a bit of a challenge though...when I went for a walk, I could smell one of my favorite perfumes that I haven't had for a while...and thought oh gosh I really want some again, thus would normally have taken me straight to some online shopping, But I held fire. The perfume will still be there when I am not in debt. But I might get it as one of my rewards for reaching a goal. I think one of them may be met by the end of the month. 😇3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000

NEVER have I been so furious that my CC statement isn't ready. It's not there, checked at least 4 times. I am consoling myself with wine, and a delicious salad (of Chicken livers, grapes and tarragon on a lot of lettuce - some onion and red wine vinegar too).3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000
