Money Moral Dilemma: Should I stop putting my brother's name on gifts we buy?

  • Definitely leave his name off the gift and card
  • Why is that even a question? Why on earth would you include your brother, you are individuals of the same family, not one of a couple. Grow up, and let your brother grow up as well!

Indeed, you should omit any mention of him altogether. After all, why should recipients be given a false impression that your brother contributed, when he hadn't and never had any intention of doing so? By leaving his name off the accompanying card, they can be left to form their own conclusions about his generosity or otherwise.

I wish I could get paid to dream up these nonsense questions like the MSE team does.
