NSD #15 today! Just spent the whole morning cleaning and stripping more beds. Then got a phone call that DS1 has been in close contact with a kid who has tested positive for Corvids (Caw Caw!) and his form has to isolate for 14 days. Told to absolutely not get a test unless he has symptoms - the plague-kid was asymptomatic at school all day yesterday - so had to race to pick him up from school, where his entire form had been shoved out the door into the rain to stand on the steps until someone came to collect them. They looked very bedraggled. Like wet cats.So a bit more cleaning tonight to celebrate my NSD. Perhaps a spot of laundry, and hopefully I will be finished with all the cleaning tomorrow (I am getting bored of it now).Gratitudes: Earl Grey teabags, Mr H00ver for inventing the Henry
, and the lovely bin men who came into our front garden to take and empty our 2nd ( lid-less) wheelie bin (I only put one out) which was full of the hedge's weekend haircut - they are only allowed to take one per household so I thought it would wait until next week, for all the rubbish we make (one bag a week).

Grateful today for getting lots of school prep done while dd did hwk, for dh having a go at mending another leaking bit of the downstairs loo, for the wind and rain dying down when I went out for a walk, for awesome central heating.

Evening all!
Bad case of the blues again last few days - i am thinking it must be the weather/gloom; finances are good, and been paid - so not that; no relationship - so no issues or arguments there; parents behaving so can't blame them... Totally lost my motivation to do anything and feel flat. I am hitting my daylight lamp tomorrow morning and was even contemplating booking a sunbed session haha. Maybe I need to double up on my anti-depressants this time of year... If it persists the rest of this week will ring the Doc.
That said... looking on the bright (the irony!) side... I am on budget and half a month ahead of myself. Been to the gym once and well... i have my little flat and am snug inside, and have lots of food in too. Life isn't all bad.
I laughed at your enactment of the nativity f0xh0les - are you starring as Mary? Who needs TV and a TV licence!

Tuesday- not a NSD, but I'm taking today as a (minor) success- went into a shop to buy milk and came out having ONLY bought milk. I rarely manage to do that, so money spent but not very much.
Not much else done, really need to get the last of the boxes sorted out but by the time I get home from work and food sorted out I really don't want to start unpacking.

I think I’m now on 7/8 NSDs, yay 🙂
Made a lovely veggie & chickpea curry last night, veg pakora, (shop bought) naan and rice. Also baked a loaf of yeasted bread. I’ve been back to cooking lots- the day before I cooked up a gammon joint for sandwiches and used the stock to make soup, a loaf of sourdough and a microwave jam sponge pudding which was really nice.
Grateful to have my cooking mojo back after a few days of only doing the basics. Also very grateful that my keys have turned up in my house??! I think they were in my bag the whole time and yesterday when emptying it I absentmindedly put them in the key cubby without noticing they were the lost ones (I’ve been using my husband’s as he is out all day). I then got a fright when I found them there, very spooky 😂 what a numpty! I searched the bag loads as well.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Morning all
Achieved NSD yesterday but only on 5/15. This is a busy time of year in our family for birthdays. Had a good day at work with 2 virtual catch ups with colleagues. Had a meeting for my PT job in the eve which was really good. Then watched an episode of Line of Duty with DD1 and her boyfriend. No housework done - getting very lax and need some house viewers to panic me into action!
Hope you are ok abundant. Hope DS1 keeps well f0xh0les
Gratitudes:
DS1 and boyfriend paying for avocados and kitchen roll to enable me to keep an NSD! Great meeting with my PT job. Nice phone call with DD2

Hi
Am spending the day on my sisters couch and walking w a friend. UK money is not much good outside of the UK so have only spent money on transport and a bit of food!
Also just got hit with a £180 water bill. So my plan to treat myself to a yearly b'day haircut, will just have to wait! I'll keep my witches tresses. And ds have just spent £24 on data as his 4G ran out in a week, leaving him racking up charges of £3 a day w V1rg1n! Not happy. Do I make him pay it, he did have a warning last month when it was £9! extra? I know it's my fault for not changing his plan, but I'm not happy.
Grateful for a lovely day with my mum yesterday.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
