Another NSD bagged! 🙌 been very busy in the garden today- another 5 raised beds built and filled with topsoil and all planted up with bulbs and flowers 😊
I harvested the last of the beetroot and carrots along with some spaghetti squash and some 'gem' sweetcorn (the sweetcorn is for a decorative autumn bowl display as it's a multitude of colours 😉) I've cooked and pickled the beetroot in raspberry and blueberry balsamic- thankfully I still have a few jars of my last lot as I hate waiting! 😂
We're eating leftovers today for dinner and I've got stuff out of the freezer for tomorrow's dinner so I'm feeling pretty organised! 🙌6 -
Saturday- yet another spend day (although today was just bread and eggs in the local shop), so still on 10.
Not done much of anything today- some boxes into the loft- I've never had a "usable" loft before and it's amazing! All the December stuff, camping stuff and folding garden chairs have gone up there so loads of cupboard space free for everyday things to be accessible. I am very aware that I need to be careful not to fill the loft with things that should really be leaving the house completely.

Today I am grateful for not gtting too wet when out an about, for finishing trouser turn-ups for mum, for the beautiful colours on the trees, for discovering the delayed 6 nations rugby on the box (only 6 months late...!), for yummy luxury banana and choc chip hm muffins.

Somebody point me at the naughty step.Just spent £400 on 1kea website and £220 on a new oven from the Ancient Greek Boat shop . The oven can be excused, the rest was just a huge SOD IT ALL!!! spend. All will be delivered next weekend.Very out of character, but the living room will look lovely for The C-Word. Our oven was a death trap, now we will be safe, and fed. The Swedish meatball shop stuff was all on sale too. No excuse, but 25% off until next weekend on something I would have bought soon anyway. Watched the new B0rat film, very funny but utterly utterly utterly inappropriate in pretty much every way (It is free on Amaz0n).4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi everyone
sorry for lack of posting. Just had a week off work which was really lovely. DD1 and i went out for lunch. Met a friend for a walk. DDs took me away for a night for my birthday - had a lovely time. Have spent most days but have paid a big chunk off debt too and debt freedom is in sight...
Gratitudes - caring daughters; lovely friends; relaxed 24 hours away from it all
love to all

Morning all
Forgot the clocks changed and wondered why I woke up so early this morning when actually it was about right! Chucking it down here, meant to be going to do some non-ridden work with my share horse but not sure I can face the outdoors! Forecast is for rain all day.
Not many other plans, might crack on with some cleaning then it's out of the way. Might try and get some December shopping done too.
Grateful for a lovely cosy house, a relatively pain free night's sleep and my cosy sofa blanket which just makes it impossible to get up!6 -
I'm not turning the clocks back this year because the last thing we need in 2020 is an extra hour of it.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
A bit at sixies and sevens today.
Food order arrived and I've managed to do some washing but it is so cold and showery there is no chance of it drying outside so it's upstairs hanging on the dryer. I'll try to get the rest done tomorrow with some of the other millions of things that are on the to do list.
Did some online gift shopping as I have no intention of going anywhere near a shop this year.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
No spends today - too manky to go anywhere. DD, her boyfriend and DS3 did manage a walk when it was only drizzling (as opposed to pelting down) to feed swans on the canal earlier
Have been doing a bit of sorting out in our room - I've got rid of several items of clothing of mine from the decorating clothing drawer because they are a - now way too big and b I had far too many in there! I also recycled a scarf which I love the colour of but it is sadly way beyond it's best (or even its third-best-ness), a super stretched vest top which is almost a mini dress and a badly fitting bra. 5 drawers tidied so far, several more to go (mostly tiny drawers from bedside cabinets, not huge drawers) and also my wardrobe. Just all needs a good sort and a move around of things (eg my sockette things for under ballet-pump type shoes are now at the bottom with boot and fluffy socks at the top - my wardrobe needs summer tops putting at the rear rail and jumpers coming forward)
Grateful for central heating, pr1mal amaz0n to watch old tv series (another 10 day free trial), easy food, selling some of DS2's books via fbook (things out and money for DS2 in
)
