I am sitting with my head hung low on said naughty step.As a penance I have spent the entire day cleaning and tidying and hoovering, and have still managed less than half the house. The kids had made a mess literally everywhere. There was not a square inch of bedroom carpet visible, and despite me asking many times, no laundry had come down for over a week.... and the crumbs! There has been a biscuit massacre up there, which is odd as I have imposed a 'no eating above the ground floor' rule. The only one who listened was DS2 who tidied his room in 5 minutes flat and then asked for the hoover.The back and front yards have been weedkillered and brushed and demossed and all the rubbish dehedged. Looks rather smart out there now. I have Mount Hotpoint to scale, as I decided to change the beddding whilst I was up there. Why do teenage boys make their rooms smell like that??? They must like it I suppose.They can jolly well have a sandwich for their supper (we had shepherd's pie and peas for lunch) as I have just wasted 4 hours of my life skipping out their rooms.Today was NSD 12? oops, no it wasn't, it was NSD 13.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for going for a little run before the rain pelted down, for getting out with dd, for tech, for my family, for the satisfaction of needlefelting.

Sunday- NSD 11/15, only because my excellent friend bought hot drinks at the outdoor event we were at. Will be my turn next time but means I just might make 15 this month.
Had a lovely morning out at a local national trust venue with an organised, outdoor and distanced kids activity trail. Not much else achieved today, but it's been nice spending relaxed time with DD before school goes back tomorrow.

Hi Just had a skim read, but just can't keep up this month, too much stuff to keep track off, and have now gone on a jolly to see my mom, slightly adding to stress, but saw an old bestest friend yesterday and sister - so a very nice trip, looking forwards to actually seeing my mom today. Just grateful for friends, family and a super transport system, that takes you everywhere in minutes. I am appalled with the raid against public transport in the UK sparked by Covid, that will probably turn out to be the worst environmental disaster the country has seen for decades. Anyhow that was todays outburst. Happy Monday.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Good morning!
Think I am slowly coming out of my slump. Indulged in a take-away Saturday (thanks Dad!) and my step count over the weekend was abysmal... BUT - in the grand scheme of the last few months my good days far outweigh my bad days, and I have lost 2.85kg and am looking more trim. So got to tell self I am not a complete failure for not sticking to my rigid routine 100%.
Yesterday = NSD number 12
Today I am planning to go to the gym, get some steps in, need to do a shop at el-cheapo supermarket near the gym, for Skyr and a few other bits. Basking in my sun lamp as there's !!!!!! all of it outside today <again>
Have a great day folks⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Thank you turtles for your kind comments my head is feeling better, still sore to touch and when gkids jump on you.Mothernerd what a great list, looks fab. Will pop to shop after work, hopefully Morrisons still have Halloween shelf not taped up like other stores here in Wales. Green jelly yum.Friday - took my car to garage and lovely mechanic didn't even charge me for fitting the new struts to my boot, must of felt sorry for me and did say happened to him a few times. £33 only spent. Got milk, bread and chocolate on way home to celebrate.Saturday- NSD Wet day, dd and grandkids in the house, grateful for dd Disney channel account, Hot pot made, lots of games, films.Sunday NSD - got up early, my body clock not changed, did all my jobs, walk, bumped into a friend bit of company nice. Leftover hot pot lunch, crumble made and went into real lazy mode after ironing. Should have gone out for another walk, but anxiety sometimes gets to me, walking crowded places alone. That sounds mad doesn't it. I walk lots by myself but with this lockdown the places I wanted to go knew they would be busy so stayed in. Jealous of everyone being able to travel somewhere living in Wales bit restrictive atm.Grateful forBeing able to Bubble with my family, madness but fun.Watching Top Gear last night, so many lovely places near me, hopefully be able to visit soon.Long lost bf phoning me up to see how I was coping with lockdown ( I am still working in office luckily so not much difference)LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225

Well there is a sale on until Sunday, and the delivery times are only around 7 days at the moment.Don't forget Martin's mantra. Do I want it or do I need it? can you get it anywhere cheaper (nope!)Plus those star shaped light shades are about £4 but will stop me being blinded when DH insists on having the big light on and the bonus that I can reenact the star appearing in Bethlehem ( if I can get dh to wear a teatowel and a bed sheet) ... Cheap night in! Totally my fault. Mea Culpa. Scapegoat warning!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
