Morning
I've been up too long! It's annoying waking so early because I can't do anything as oh is such a light sleeper.
Today:
* change bedding, wash & line dry
* do a mini TOMM as madam has a friend coming round for a playdate today. (Not fully doing this so my attention isn't diverted from decorating!)
* decorating - I actually got on with it and sanded for hours yesterday! All woodwork sanded. Today will be filling cracks and holes, sanding down the walls with sander and white washing the plaster patch to see where we need to fill
* dinner will be pizza and salad for the girls and oh & I can have lo rice, tomato sauce (kinda ala @DawnW) with something
* freeze some portions of said sauce
I cooked up over 4kgs of tomatoes over the last few days!
* nip to the allotment
* carry on knitting sock. At the instep decrease now
* bag up beans frozen
* investigate what I need to make chutney ala @DawnW and if I have enough jars
* call Gp. I forgot about my appt yesterday...
* some business admin. Shouldn't take longer than 30 mins
That is me. I really want to sew but am stopping myself until I have finished the kitchen...
Hope you all have a lovely day

Morning all
Up early as usual, dog walk, kitchen and bathroom clean done, folded yesterday's clean washing (no ironing thank goodness!), put the bread maker on, and decanted the last of a big sack of bread flour (bought when flour was seemingly obtainable only from wholesalers who were happy to sell online and deliver) into a big tupperware. Later I intend to:Walk to the post office with an ebay parcel, and go into W*itrose if it isn't busy to get some mustard seeds. Remember to take a bag of clothes with me to put in the charity clothes bin in W*itrose's car park.Might attempt a new batch of chutney later - spicy apple and pumpkin, one my elder daughter made last year. I must check whether I have all the ingredients. I have a butternut squash which will deputise for the pumpkin.Finalise online shop which is due tomorrowYummy fresh bread for lunch, with cheese, salad and chutney
Dinner will be chilli and riceLast day of warm sunshine here apparently

Afternoon all,
The day started with such promise.. and went downhill fast
A nice walk around the block first thing for free exercise.
Applied some ys'd static frosted glass effect stuff to the shower door as the kids are getting shy! so need to protect their modesty lol (this is some stuff we bought a few years ago from bandQ when they were closing down for 30p - it looks great up though)
Then found a leak under the shower, think we've found the source.. replaced the sealant but this whole saga took several hours so I've not got a lot else done today!
Did another walk though as I had an rm survey item to post.
Going to have to go and work out whats for tea tonight now as I've failed on the meal planning!!
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Not got as far with my list with what I had wanted but here’s what DFW moves I’ve made this week:
Had my gel nails taken off at a cost of £6. It was the only thing I treated myself with but if I leave it til December then I’ll be £100+ better off for presents.Have planned for MOT/service in October budget. It’s going to be a tight month!Found the wholesalers card so I can go on payday and get some bits cheap.Oh and no trips to work canteen for two days!5
