Evening all...I've had a "Meh" birthday...a SSDD sort. Started off by waking up three times in the night worrying about stuff, overslept, then had to enjoy a luke warm cup of muddy water - thank you for the thought Tiny - whilst trying to open cards with fingers that felt like plasticine sausages. Got boys to school in time for me to do my breakfast club stint to be shouted at by Small that it was a PE day and the boys has got their main uniform on and not their sports kit...frantic dash home to fling kit in a bag to prevent the total humiliation of having to do PE in school shoes. Then two hours spent feeding and cleaning out various animals and birds, hiding all the ironing (in preparation for my cleaning lady to be able to sort out the stink pit of a wetroom) and hanging heavyweight dining room curtains after washing them.
I did have lunch out with a friend and ate my bodyweight in naughty food, so now I'm upset that I've fallen off the wagon again. My BF posted a piccie of me and her at her wedding from last year and I was appalled to see I looked like a total hippo.
Anyway, wetroom looks fab...
Hugs to all fly ladies struggling or worried at the moment x

Belated birthday greetings Dizzy.
Went to aqua aerobics
Went to uni, happy with new room, screen and visors so I'm back at work next week. I'm only doing one assessment each week instead of two for the first three weeks just in case of any unforseen issues.
Sanitised bathroom ready for my brother, ditto bedroom.
Vacuumed all rooms.
Made a chilli for tomorrow, pizza for tonight and baked a cake and loaf of bread.
One load through dw, put away.
A few other miscellaneous fly-type things.
Watered greenhouse. Collecting fallen tomatoes is like seeking out eggs when you have free range chickens, they drop everywhere.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -

Morning all,
Been wake for a while with this silly sore throat and runny nose. I'm going to gird my loins and go to Aldi after work for a mega stock up on tinned and dried things that I like from there. I'm not panic buying, but if I do a stock up there it means I just need to get meat and f&v locally. Dairy comes from the milkman.
Its pouring with rain and the temperature is set to drop during the day. I intend to get a rice pudding in the slow cooker when I get home from work. Laundry will have to wait until Friday when it looks like we may see some sun again. Hugs to all xx11 -
Morning all,
Belated happy birthday, Dizzy x
Started flying early - was wiping the fridge at 1am, fed up with the WAC (sorry, fellow members, it’s nothing personal), fed up with my procrastinations, as I was going to use the milkman, go back to f&v online ordering etc but never got round to it etc etc.
Off to work via school shortly. The meal plan for tonight looks vague, I seem to run out of steam by Wednesdays for easy dinners for when I am later home. Anyone seen my guag?Have a lovely day all. Hugs all round x10 -
Morning,
Up and going early as OH had an early meeting and had to drop our lodger (friend's son who has no electricity his flat) off at school first. But I've been productive
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
DW emptied and re loaded
HHI done
Now looking for scone recipe as have another friend coming round for a coffee after her blood test which I guess is fasting so scones will be needed. Just realised the mascarpone is in the freezer (ok I've just got it out) and I've no cream so unless it gets warm suddenly and the mascarpone thaws a bit it's gling to be scones with butter and jam.
Time to put the kettle on and run round with the vacuum.
Have a good day

Belated birthday wishes to Dizzy xx
Another fed up member of WAC here Fayolle. WAC for ages round the 2am mark - then a convoluted dream which ended when next door's car alarm went off at 4.45 am. Of course I didn't know it was theirs so I shot out of bed to check that it wasn't mine. Eugh! I now feel frayed at the edges but I'm up and dressed, bed made, pack up done. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for the paid stuff. I've put all the bathroom cleaning stuff together in a bucket and GF is going to 'attack' the bathroom while I'm at work.
While tea was cooking last night I WUDUPA a bowl of pots while listening to an Abba shuffle. Too many 'while's in that sentence lol. DS and GF came back down to watch Bake Off with me. Wasn't sure how I'd take to Matt L presenting, but I mostly loved it.
Paid stuff awaits. Have a good day. Take care.
How are you Natty?

Good morning!
Early start here. DH & DS set off for their camping trip to Wales at about 7:30am. DH was very stressed last night, trying to get things sorted. I left him to it for a couple of reasons.... 1. It's normally me running around trying to get everything organised. 2. He has had 3 days off work to sort this out, so why is he doing it the night before?! 3. It's his holiday, so I don't want to interfere
After they left I have FUPA the clean washing, had breakfast, WULTD, S&S the kitchen, put out food bin for stuff I don't want to compost, checked bank accounts & emails and let the gas engineer in to fit the part & do the boiler service.
My plan for the day:
put casserole in the slow cooker
empty food bin into Lottie the Hottie
empty ALL of the !!!!!! that is cluttering up the bay window area of my bedroom
sort all of above stuff - I MUST be brutal!! Some of this stuff has been hanging around for decades!!!!
trip to CS (or maybe a few trips!!)
clean blinds in bay
clean windows in bay
webinar tonight
Dizzy belated birthday wishes!
Hugs to all that are struggling still - we WILL get through this!

up early to take car for MOT. Mum brought me back (and took me to pick it up later) under sufferance. I had to sit in the back, all car windows open and we both wore masks.
In between I made lunch for school, made bed, tidied, stacked DW, and tidied round.
Rabbits in their pen. Need to get changed and go and earn a crust.
Recycling out tonight - bag of shredding ready.
Incidentally I prepped car for MOT myself - first ever time I have taken a car to be tested myself. It passed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
