Good morning
Been lying awake worrying about stupid things - filling the car up with petrol today, what we will have for dinner etc etc. I’m now just tetchy and anxious and for no good reason. No work today, but the 30 mile round trip to do school drop off / pick up will take a chunk from the day.
I need to write a list and pull myself together.
Have a lovely day all. Hugs to those in need. X10 -
@Fayolle I know exactly the feeling, it's so annoying isn't it. Do some breathing exercises before you do anything else. Xx11

Morning xx
I'm the same. Stomach is in knots for no apparent reason at all. Paid stuff for me today, and, unless it's altered in my absence, I'll be at my own desk and alone in the office so I'll just put my head down and crack on.
I'm up, showered and dressed. I've made my bed, eaten breakfast, packed my lunch, and changed Sweetie's seed and water. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
And breathe- what is wrong with me for goodness sake.
Have a good day. Much flylady love to you all.

Good morning!
Calming vibes sent to those that are feeling anxious. I think it is all this talk of extra measures, curfews and rising cases that means there is an underlying sense of anxiety everywhere. DH & DS are due to set off camping early tomorrow - as long as BJ doesn't announce anything too restrictive! (or the Welsh government, for that matter)
Paid stuff today. I have poo picked, opened the greenhouse & checked my bank accounts and emails. I had a rather nice surprise email from the council at 7am - they are awarding my grant & it should be in my bank account in about 5 days!!
I am going out shortly with DH. We are taking the dog and my little 2 yr old to the woods for a run. I will take a basket and we can collect acorns, leaves, twigs, etc for a nature walk. It is times like this that I love my job! I am hoping he will have a nap later too
Have a good day everyone!10 -
Argh... hayfever is going WILD today! I can not stop sneezing!Girls all deposited at school..Dot clinging and crying and Twinkle having to be pinned to be kissed and given her lunch! I was thinking I might let Squeak make her own lunch.. she is 10 it's not unreasonable.
I have filled out the forms for Dots ASD referral.. I am not sure how well they are filled out but I am guessing they will do.
Internet bill paid and account brought back into the black.
I have done Moomins christmas presents.. she wants the bedroom pink and sparkly so I started with a big fancy dressing table with mirror .. I am hoping to get her a cheapish full length mirror as well.. it is quite dark in the room so it would be nice. I am also wondering if I could get another radiator in the room as it is freezing in there in winter and gets a bit damp. I want a quote to dry line 2 walls as well so see if we can make it a bit warmer and a lot less damp. It has 3 external walls so is chilly with solid brickwork.
Yesterday I sorted OH a 0% credit card.. it will only cover half his current one but it will reduce interest and give him time to pay off his old card saving about £30 a month. I got him off his ridiculously expensive O2 contract onto a sim only GG one saving £17 a month and then I opened him a new bank account with no overdraft just a basic account and that is where he is getting his ridiculously huge overdraft paid off.. if I have to pay off my debts, so does he! It may take 100 years but we will get there hopefully.I have requested copies of Squeaks baptism records for high school application . I need to email the admissions team at the relevant high school.
Today I have a pile of squishy bananas to deal with.
ASD forms to take into school.. once the referral is in I am demanding, not politley requesting, demanding and EHCP is done.. it will be done sooner and can offer some support I hope.
Just ignoring OH (who is still trying to hide) .. he is doing the DW at the moment.
Love and hugs to all.. I hope everyones booboos are mending.
YL.. how is DS1 and his bloods? Any news? I have been thinking about you all.. and DS2's housemates with the plague! xxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
Morning all. (((Hugs))) to all who need them, especially Jazee x
This morning I have so far
- considered how to store music CDs in my study and not come up with a satisfactory conclusion
- helped DH shower
- stripped his bed and started WM
- made breakfast for us both (usually his job)
- cleaned as much as I could of the back porch, wiped down the shelves, walls and door frame [yuck]
- made room next to the shelving unit for 3 large pieces of wood (the shelves out of the old cupboard) which with a suitable cover (roofing felt, maybe?) will make a nice table top to display my hosta pots outside the back door
- sorted out tools and garden chemicals to put back in the shed
- stripped my bed ready for WM
- had my shower
Need to go out for a birthday card and more milk and tea bags
Catch up later xxx
