P & S came for a coffee. I've been to the pub and had lunch with L - very nice it was too. DS and GF have gone for a drive to the ice cream parlour. WM is swishing again. I've had half a dry cider so I'm feeling erm mellow I think is the word.
GF is eyeing me askance as I came in and asked where DS had been (his shoes had moved) and why he's moved the microwave???? Just call me Sherlock lol. Turns out DS had knocked my chicken off the microwave with a cupboard door and had had to move the microwave to find the chicken's tail. Message sent to GF loud and clear - if you touch something I will know mwahahaha.
I'm going to chill for an hour whilst I have the house to myself.
Hugs to Jazee xx

Jazee hope he DH is on the mend soon.
Online college here. Don’t want to jinx it but it is going better than last week.I’m having to fit noisy jobs in between lesson. I have half prepped dinner but can’t continue under 6pm. I want to tumble towels for 10 mins as they are stiff as a board at the moment.
i have read my meters and am trying to find out my yearly figures so I can compare. I have dysoned the house and cleaned the bathroom.Natty keep an eye on that wound, it looks deep.11 -
Evening all,
Wow, it's lovely to catch up with such a busy thread. Natty that looks so sore, please get checked out if only for reassurance. Jazee I am thinking of you xx
Busy day as per. Work done, dog walked, kids collected, bins out, dinner cooked and tidied up from, washing in and away, DW unloaded, kids away to bed. Now its cuppa and an early night again for me. Uniforms are laid out ready for tomorrow, and DD has been dosed up as she has a heavy cold.
Sleep well all xx11 -

Natty, honey, please be Commander- Flylady-in-Chief for the rest of the week. That looks painful. X
Jazee, hugs x. I hope Mr J is back home and recovered quickly.4 pages already! Hugs to anyone I’ve missed in my thread catch up.
Very little flying achieved, although I did make a mammoth attempt and cleared the ironing pile this evening. The meal plan went out of the window, as the weather was just too warm to be ...erm... “bothered”, to be quite frank. DD has a cold (so obviously a cold and nothing sinister), but she wasn’t sent home today. We wait to see whether that changes tomorrow.I have just one chapter left of my book, so I am going to attempt to finish that before someone decides that I should be doing something else.12 -
Washing in & folded, utility floor cleaned. DH cleaned the bathroom sink & put away all the bottles in the cupboard underneath. We popped to the allotment. I now have a swede, 3 carrots and some runner beans to have with my casserole
We also picked lots of tomatoes and I have made soup for the boys to take camping.
I am going to now see where I got those blasted taps from!

I had a good idea this afternoon. Dad is getting a new 3 piece suite tomorrow so I made a few phone calls and I now have Dad's old sofa (nothing wrong with it) in my living room and my broken chair is outside in the back yard. Result
GF has offered to help clean the house as a thank you for letting her live here. So when DS and I are at work on Wednesday she is going to 'attack' the bathroom.
Hugs to all

Please tell me how a 5/6 year old child, logged into a website through a school portal where the school postcode is used, managed to turn all the language into WELSH!
I'm assuming it was a glitch on their part and not something a very cute boy with massive eyes and a lisp managed to do..
and there was an awful lot of 'go back to your place and put your hand up please'...

Hope all goes well Jazee.
Managed to achieve a bit more here:
Finalised Mr T order.
Did a webinar on ADHD.
Checked a few things on email 'to do' list and sorted a few.
Booked a mammogram.
Vaguely ironed some trousers as Mr N was ironing. Can't remember when I last ironed anything.......
Sent an e-card to friend with cancer. Not looking good; glad we visited her a couple of weeks ago.
Posted letters on the way to drum lesson.
Planned food for next few days as my brother is working locally again. After discussion with him and Mr N, we have agreed that even if a 'non household visiting' block is decreed, he will be up here to work and has to sleep somewhere so we are happy for him to join us.
Emptied my Uni trolley in preparation to going there tomorrow to collect all my assessment resources from the old room and inspect the proposed new room.
Not exactly housework but all necessary. House isn't bad as we haven't been here for a few days.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.13 -
Morning all,
Feeling yucky this morning. After work I must nip to M&S to collect an order (mittens and bedding), and also pop to Wilko. DS has sports club tonight so it will be a slightly later bedtime for all. Have lovely days xx10
