Morning all
Thanks for the new thread x
Paid stuff for me today, dailies have been done and wm is swishing, gloomy day here and it’s a load of towels so will just use the TD I think. I have a zoom meeting after work but provided I can finish at a reasonable time I will try for a bit of flying in between the two.
Have a good one all, hugs, sticks, spoons, GWS, and good luck vibes aplenty x11 -
Morning xx
Thank you for the lists xx
nmm - so that's where Weekend Willi was yesterday - I knew she wasn't here!
Fayolle - spooky. Towels in WM here too; and I went to bed early as I was falling asleep in the chair and then spent time in WAC. 2.45am I was laid awake listening to DS's GF snoring. NOT funny. It stopped - eventually but then I was WA because I was wound up. Did get back to sleep but I've woken up with really high anxiety. Why? Not sure - probably just too much going on. And breathe...
So, I'm tired. I fighting my demons, but I'm up, washed and dressed. I changed the towels in the bathroom and sloshed bleach down the loo. WM is now swishing towels & tea towels and I'm enjoying my brew. Mr M is delivering between 9 and 10am - I've made a mental meal plan for the week and ordered accordingly. DS's GF doesn't eat fish or anything from a pig - so chicken sausages it is then. I didn't even know there was such a thing - but then I don't eat any meat, but I do eat fish. Luckily DS eats whatever you put in front of him so that's ok.
P & S will be dropping in for a coffee late morning as is now the 'tradition' and I'm meeting L for lunch in the village pub at 12.30. Not seen L since before lockdown so a catch up is long overdue. DS and GF have invited me to join them on a trip to the ice cream parlour this afternoon but I think I'll give that a miss - nice to be asked though.
DS has accepted a different job so has one more week at the warehouse job and will then be working office hours Mon - Fri. GF is waiting for a start date - she was offered the job on 26th August so hopefully it won't be much longer. Then she too with be working office hours Mon-Fri.
Sorry for meandering on. Demons! I'll feed the birds and put out the rubbish and recycling.
Hope all goes well for Mr Jazee xx

Morning.
Thinking of you and your DH, Jazee xx
So far this morning I have made and drunk a cuppa, put the yogurt in the fridge and wiped out the machine, cleared the draining board, paid 2 bills, made a decision about what I'd like to get DGD1 off her birthday list, emailed DS1, then had to change my mind as he emailed back to say that item has already gone. That's life!
My list for the rest of today:
- Kitchen list (my cupboards go up to the ceilings, and the fridge is tightly packed after weekend shopping trip, so that's two things off the list)
- WMx2
- Hoover all through downstairs
- Buy birthday card for DGD1 - she's coming up to double figures- and order her gift
- Make 4 phonecalls
- Prepare PowerPoint for a meeting on Thursday
- Start making the new fabric hanging "drawer" for my grandmother's sewing table: it's only been on my Toots list ever since I joined the Flyladies
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx

Hmmm no flying for me now. I'm on the sofa with my leg up..
The bottom one now looks a bit more icky, the blood is appearing and blobbing..lol For those that don't have FB here's what happened..Trying to get a cupboard down the stairs so the builders can take the ceiling down. Well let's just say the cupboard is down the stairs but it landed on me as I fell down the stairs with cupboard on top of me.Hopefully it won't be a hospital trip..I'll keep my leg up and not go anywhere today. But it's agony....
I’ve now got a living room full of crud from the holiday as well as upstairs. And builders taking my ceiling down upstairs, and we are not allowed upstairs as its an asbestos ceiling. I had plans to at least do things downstairs but can't now. So I am living in a building site..I hate it.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Towels / tea towels pegged out. Jeans swishing. Cardboard box ripped up and recycled.
I've run through what's happening today and tomorrow in my head and there's nothing I can't handle, so why am I anxious???. All bills are paid including today's rent. Jacket spuds with beans for tea tonight.
Mr M has just pulled up - two doors down the road.
Back soon

have dealt with a Toots list item within 24 hours of said item actually applying to join the Toots list - mum suggested I apply for a water meter and, tbh, I had thought I would when the kids had left but had forgotten. Anyhoo I have first registered with Severn Trent online then I have applied. So. hopefully, another bill reduction is on the cards.
DW emptied, of dry stuff, water-holding stuff rotated to dry.
Ouchy Natty - still - you're in charge this week - you can be chief cheerleader/encourager. Hope it's becoming less painful.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear9 -
Ouch Natty
You need something to cover those open wounds if you're going to have dust (and worse) flying around today, Have you got anything like this?
Kitchen tidy and clean
Floors hoovered throughout downstairs
Ensuite cleaned
DH is steam mopping the kitchen
Just collecting washing together...9 -
Good morning!
I am in this week. Thanks Natty for the list, and Valli for last week.
The WU has been done, and kitchen surfaces wiped. Breakfast has been had, and bank accounts checked. Bob the builder is fitting the new taps at the moment, so the water is off. He then needs to do the upstairs taps. Something off my Toots list! In the meantime the washing will have to wait! I need to check and deal with some emails - I have them stacking up from the council!! There are new guidelines/communications daily - I can't keep up!!
DH is upstairs packing for his camping trip (Wed-Sat) with DS. They are going to Wales (Snowden). It look like fun, but the weather is changing the second half of the week, so I am glad I will be here in the warm & dry!! Someone has to look after the dog.....I will be home alone for nearly 4 days!! Yay!! I will be working though, so I doubt I will get much done. I do have the bedroom in my sights though.......
I think it is time for a cuppa, then work on the emails & make a list for the day.
Hugs to those that need it - seem to be lots struggling at the moment. Natty that looks painful! Take it easy and try not to stress about the mess - it will get done.7 -
Ouch Natty xx It's a bit late to say 'take care' but I'm saying it anyway xx
Mr M delivery received and put away with some jiggery pokery freezer tetris and squishy squashy cupboard tetris. Big B can lock me down now - I'd rather he didn't, but I'm prepared!
Jeans pegged out. Brew two and toast devoured.
