Its the ale on a Monday and Tuesday in local GK Hive pub £2.05 to £2.20 pint for quality well kept ale not inferior mass produced. Thats when its £3.10 for a coke or similar!0

Got it — you’re a water loyalist, nothing boring about that. Honestly, in most pubs the cheapest alcoholic option is usually a half pint (lager, bitter, or house ale). Some places still do a basic “house pint” for less than the fancy craft stuff.
For non-alcoholic, it’s often a standard soft drink like a cola, lemonade, or even an orange juice (though sometimes juice is weirdly pricier than beer). A half-pint of draught soda or a postmix lemonade is usually the cheapest non-water option.
So if you’re trying to blend in without breaking the bank: half pint of lager if you want alcohol, or a small fizzy drink if not.
