My initial deposit the other day arrived fairly swiftly. Now I'm waiting to rehome the funds from Tesco when interest ends on 22nd.

The batch jobs may be automated. Auto Sergei isn’t a real meerkat!

Perhaps we could find out by making a transfer in the middle of the night when everyone has gone home.
I find transfers take half an hour or so when marcus and nationwide are instant
Not that it matters
Unless somebody makes a transfer on Saturday afternoon and worries because it doesn't show until Monday.

Fwiw I received the unique App code this morning. Easy to complete the steps on mobile and a test deposit via debit card showed up instantly. Smooth process all said and done.

Debit card payments will not start earning interest for 3 days whereas faster payments will start earning interest when  they are received.
