  • On back of the auto payment point above - has anyone experience of weekend withdrawals (non working day) from Skipton through online service. Do they go same day or hold until Monday ?
    TIA
I'll be doing what 1882 suggested above i.e. making the instructions to withdraw today (and before late afternoon) to ensure they arrive today and are there for Sat/Sun and first thing Mon.

    Else you risk being overdrawn

You cannot set a scheduled payment for a weekend, so I would assume that the payment would not leave your account until next working day, if your SO falls on a weekend.

If you make a payment outside of banking hours, the payment will be made on the next working day
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Got to remember to transfer money to my Santander 123 lite during working hours on a Friday (to fund my numerous Regular Savers) if the standing orders go out on a Monday.
Will probably keep enough money to fund one months standing orders in my BOS Vantage/Lloyds club/Marcus just in case I forget.
Doing my transfer now for Regular payments going out Monday.
Going to transfer it to 3 x BOS vantage because transfer from BOS to Santander is instant 24/7.
If I did forget, I will need to change the standing order date to 3/11 on over 50 standing orders!

Weekend withdrawals are dealt with on the next working day.

Hold until Monday unless it’s a bank holiday, Skipton only do payments on working days.

This is one of the few downsides to the S7 ie payments are only executed on working days. We have more than £10k going out of our current account on Monday to fund the regular savers - loss of about a £1 in interest is bearable.

I have similar but I slide the amount into my next best paying C/As today and then onto the C/A where the s.o's are withdrawn from on Sunday.

Takes a couple of mins max if you have that option.

Is it really worth looking like a laundering risk for a quid?
