It says the 1.20% is variable and includes a 0.50% bonus is for 12 months.
It doesn't actually say the bonus is fixed although it is implied.0 -
For iOS users who like FaceID: Skipton have quietly added FaceID login, sometime in the last couple of months. I only discovered it by accident just now. You can turn it on in the app's PIN & Login preferences. Apologies if this is old news to you.1

Android still limited to PIN and/or Fingerprint access. Fine for me tbh.1

It had to happen. Rate of Bonus Saver Issue 7 drops from 1.2% to 0.65% (var) on 17 March 2021. Still one of the best legacy instant access rates, though for me it will be back to Al Rayan at 1.02% whilst that one lasts.
Also, the 0.65% includes a 0.5% bonus which lasts until September, so the underlying rate is a mere 0.15%.11 -
Was a fabulous rate whilst it lasted. Too good to be true for current environment. I was happy with how the account operated and 0.65% not too bad so pleased with Skipton as a provider over all.
I have my Al Rayan ready for a back up too, but exactly, whilst it lasts.Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."2 -

Likewise I missed this and haven't received any correspondence from Skipton.
I was just waiting for this to happen and seeing this thread reappearing just felt awful!0 -

Thought this was coming after Coventry's similar account reduced. Drip feeding into regular savers then, or S&S / Prem Bonds. Things are getting pretty dire for savings, even when juggling around and finding best buys etc!My referrals page:
